Tabby is EXO's manager and Chanyeol is her best friend. She fastly becomes attracted to Kai and things start to move fast for them. Tabby finds out a secret that Kai is hiding and Chanyeol is there to help her through it all.

I'm Tabby and I've been managing EXO for awhile. I've watched all of us grow up as individuals.. That long. I moved to South Korea to be their manager and I have been here ever since then. I love what I do and I love the guys that I manage. I would never change anything about what I do. I love all of it. I don't have a true family, but the guys I manage are my family. They are the closest thing I have to one and I would never change that either. We all need each other for this whole thing to work.
My best friend is Chanyeol. I think we've been friends since I came here to be their manager. It's hard to tell how long we've been friends. It just feels like forever because we hit it off right away. We have been by each other side ever since then and we do everything together. We even got an apartment together a few years ago.
I have never really seen Chanyeol as someone I would like. We have been friends for so long, but I've never felt that way about him. I do notice certain things about him more than I used to though. I know Chanyeol does have feelings for me, but he never forces them on me. I'm grateful for him because he treats me so well and vice versa. I'm confident our friendship will last forever because I will always have his back and he will always have mine.
EXO has just finished their practice and I head to my office to do some paperwork. I walk into my office and turn on my laptop. I sit down and start looking though the paperwork that I have to do. There is a knock on my office door and it opens. I look up and see Chanyeol walk in. I'm not surprised and look back at my laptop screen. This is a normal thing for us. He comes to sit down next to me in the extra chair I have.
"Did you practice well?" I ask him without looking away from my screen.
"Of course I did. You know me." He says and I can hear the smile in his voice. I start to smile.
"Do you think you guys are ready for the show tomorrow?" I ask him and turn my head to look at him. He nods and smiles more.
"I think we got this show tomorrow. I'm feeling good about it." He tells me. I smile.
"I'm confident in you guys. I just wanted to see what you thought about it." I say.
"I will always give you the truth." He says. I nod.
"Yes you will and so will I." I reply as I turn my head back to look at my screen. After that I start some paperwork and Chanyeol helps me with it. He's like my personal assistant.
We've been working quickly and quietly for some time when there is another knock at my office door. We look at each other before looking at the door. The door opens and in comes Kai. Kai is smiling when he comes in. He closes the door behind him and looks over at me.
"I wanted to ask you something." Kai says.
"What is it?" I ask him. He smiles even more and bites his lip slightly.
"Will you go on a date with me?" He asks me.
"What?!" Chanyeol and I ask at the same time. We glance at each other. Did he just ask what I think he asked? Kai smiles at our responses.
"I want to go on a date with you." Kai says. I look at him and raise an eyebrow.
"Why?" I ask him becoming curious. I have been his manager for awhile, but he has never shown interest before.
"Because I like you." He says while smiling sweetly.
"I'm your manager, Kai." I say. He shrugs.
"So?"
"Okay.. Let's talk about it later." I tell him. He nods. He glances at Chanyeol before leaving my office. I instantly turn to Chanyeol as soon as Kai leaves.
"What was that? What do you think?" I ask him. He looks at me.
"I don't know. What do you think?" He asks me.
"It seems weird, but should I do it?" I reply. Chanyeol shrugs and laughs.
"This is your decision, Tabby." He says.
"Chanyeol!"
"What? He's a man and you're a woman. This is for you to decide, not me." He tells me. I sigh and fake pout.
"You're right." I say. He grins.
"Always am." He replies. I glare at him before turning back to my laptop.
We spend a few more hours in my office doing my paperwork. When we are done, I turn my laptop off and we leave my office. We walk out of SM and head down the sidewalk. As we walk I notice a familiar face walking towards us. It's Kai. I glance at Chanyeol.
"I'm going to walk ahead now." He says. I almost grab his arm.
"You better not." I say as he walks faster. "Chanyeol!" I loudly call after him. Kai reaches me and turns slightly to walk in step with me.
"So what do you say about going on a date with me?" Kai asks me. I look up at him.
"Why Kai? Why now?" I ask him. I still can't understand why he would want to date me now.
"Because I like you and I think you're beautiful." He replies with a sweet smile.
"You do?" I ask him.
"Of course I do. I think you're more beautiful than anyone else." He tells me.
"Let me think about it." I tell him as we walk up to my apartment building.
"Sure. I'll see you tomorrow." Kai says and waves as he starts down the sidewalk.
"Bye." I say and go inside. I walk up the stairs to Chanyeol and I's apartment. I go inside and Chanyeol is sitting on our couch.
"I think the whole world has gone crazy." I say when I walk in. Chanyeol smiles.
"Because a guy likes you?" He asks. I start walking into my room.
"Why me though?" I ask out loud. I can hear him chuckling at me as I close my bedroom door. I change my clothes and collapse on my bed. What the hell is happening?
