Jimin and Irene were best friend. They were so close that most of the students in the school thought they were a couple.

Their relationship has not been that long either but they were everywhere together. Whenever one person feels sad, the other got hurt.

But one day Jimin was called to see Irene's parents. They wanted to have a talk with him. Not because they don't like their relationship. Its because they were worried about Jimin.

"Stay away from her- and i-if you can transfer to another town..?  I don't hate you.. But-"

"But what sir? I am so sorry but I have to refuse. She's my best friend.. You can say that she's the reason I even come to school. Is this because of me? I-I will try to change-"

"Its joohyun.. She's.. sick Jimin"

Jimin was shocked. She looked normal. Too normal to be sick.

"W-what do you mean?"

Mr.Bae held Jimin's hand. And hold it tightly.

"She's mentally sick.."

"What? No you must be kidding me"

"No I'm not. There's not a single father that would call his daughter sick just for fun Jimin. I was worried to see you being so close to her. When she gets too close to someone, it will be a disaster to take that person away. She would suddenly cry or curse if she saw you talking with other students. Even if its a guy"

Jimin went silent. Everything happens so suddenly that he started to think Irene's father is making up stories because he's just an average guy trying to be friends with this rich girl.

But that wasn't it.

Mr.Bae sounded too serious to be called a made up story. He looks super concerned too.

"Once, we were in a restaurant and we saw you, walking outside, talking to someone on your phone, smiling so widely but, suddenly she grabbed a knife and tried to hurt herself. she said you are hers and no one can make you smile like she does."

Mr.Bae continued,

"She was like this with a girl before when she was younger. They were friends for 3 years but that girl were involved in an accident that took away her life. She locked herself in her room and was crying nonstop and curse at that girl's picture saying she's a dumb fuck for not telling her before she dies, she said she could have just killed herself if she knew that girl was going to die, so they could go together"

Jimin's heart is beating so fast. He couldn't say a word. There's no way his friend is like that. She doesn't look like that kind of person.

"Now tell me does that sounds normal to you? She is my daughter, and I love her too much.. But doesn't mean I don't have to care about other people's child. If she can hurt herself, doesn't mean she won't hurt others Jimin."

"Sir.. I really don't know what to say.."

"Can you please help me Jimin? Please stay away from her. I will pay everything for you and your family to move, I'll even find your father a new job.. Please?"

"I-I will think about it"

Jimin and his family finally agreed to move to other town given their  situation isn't financially stable either.  Jimin moved to his today's school and is a kid without friends until taehyung said hi to him.
