So super duper sorry. I know I didn't post this chapter yesterday like I said I would but yesterday wasn't a good day for me. And I wasn't able to edit this. Sorry

After that little...scene...in my cabin, Amber refused to let go of my hand. We had gone to the Zeus cabin afterwards. Of course, Jason being Jason had to be weird about it. He looked at Amber's face, then mine, then our hands. He shut the door.

He came back a few minutes later with a pack full of his supplies...and a Polaroid camera. Wait, since when does everybody have Polaroid cameras? He also had Josh with him. He was looking at us with a face that basically said 'Awwww!'. It was weird. I, just being me, blushed.

"Joshua!" Jason exclaimed. "Stop staring at them and add this picture to the wall!" Josh narrowed his eyes at him and snatched the photo out of Jason's hand, muttering insults under his breathe.

"Did you just call him Joshua?!" a female voice exclaimed from behind us. I turned around and saw Meghan, wearing her usual appearal. She looked shocked and near tears. Josh walked back in and was still muttering, but now he was just cursing.

"Joshua Adam Levine!" Meghan yelled. "Stop swearing this instant!" Josh rolled his eyes and flipped her off. She narrowed her eyes and did the same to him. Amber and Jason were just silent and still but I, on the otherhand, was laughing my ass off.

They finished being obnoxious after a few minutes of staring each other down. Meghan won, of course, since Josh started cracking up. With a triumphant look, Meghan smiled.

"Okay," I said after I finally stopped laughing. "What's up, Meggles?"

"First of all, I told you not to call me that," she said with tears building up in her eyes. "Second, I came to say bye." Meghan shed a single tear. I let go of Amber's hand, much to her dismay, and pulled Meghan into a hug. She wrapped her arms around my neck and began sobbing into my shoulder. I held her tightly, not sure if I ever wanted to let go.

Meghan was more that a distant relative, she was my best friend. We were inseparable as children, never wanting to leave each others' side. As sappy as this may sound, I loved Meghan as much as I loved Amber.

Even though she acted more like an Athena child than Hades, I knew that she was related to me. She was always very distant, never having very many friends. Her small group of friends wore thinner and thinner as the years went on. She became very attacted to me, as did I to her. Now, about to leave her for the second time, I felt as though I was breaking inside. Seven years of no contact, then we are reunited. And I'm leaving again.

"It's okay," I whispered in her ear. "We'll be fine. I will come back." I pulled away.

"I know," she said with a sad smile. "But I don't want any promises." I nodded and grabbed Amber's hand. Meghan ended up with Josh's arm around her shoulder and her crying into his chest. I felt a little bit overprotective.

"I'll make sure she's okay," Josh said. "I swear on the River Styx." I nodded. Jsoh had no romantic intention. He was obviously trying to be supportive. Jason patted Josh on the back and hugged Meghan.

"Bye guys," I said with a slight wave. Josh and Meghan waved back as Jason grabbed my arm. All you could feel for the next few seconds was the cool rush of air and the familiar dark presence of shadow travel. As quick as it came, it was gone and we were standing outside of the same boarding school that I hadn't seen in years.

I was, of course, exhausted. I had trouble standing and my eyelids were heavy. Amber noticed my drowsiness and immediately suggested that we go inside and get to our rooms.
