Nora thinks she is living out her dream. So why does it feel like such a nightmare?
Nora loves Oliver. Oliver loves Nora. It's meant to be simple. But with Oliver's old h...

"Stop frowning! It's going to be fun, babe," Oliver laughed, twisting his fiancée around.
Nora's silk pink gown swirled in the air before she landed with a thump against Oliver's chest. She let out a weak laugh before placing her fingers on Oliver's tie.
Nora had made it clear to everyone that she wasn't happy. Even after she took control over her party, she was still angry because she never actually wanted it. She didn't want an engagement party full of strangers who only came for a bit of fun in their otherwise dull lives.
"I have something to tell you," She remembered, suddenly straightening up as if she was presenting him with some business deal. She had been avoiding telling him about meeting up with Madeline because she didn't want to fight. But he had to know or else he'd get a heart attack when he saw their old friend at their party.
"Madeline Lockhart is coming to our engagement party."
Oliver's eyes darted up to meet Nora's before he erupted into a fit of laughter. "Imagine! That would be so funny. She'd probably try to kill you or something. Or maybe-"
"Ol, I'm serious."
"You're what?" His smile flattened into a thin line as his brain cogs started to whizz like a machine trying to find logic to what Nora just said. "Why?"
"Because I invited her," Nora sighed before turning around. She couldn't bare seeing his reaction. It would make her regret everything she did. She busied herself with organising her jewels back into their box while Oliver stood speechless behind her.
"I don't understand...."
"I met Madeline the other day at the shop and-"
"You're only telling me now?"
"Yes but I was just so worried about what you would think and-"
"Why do you want to ruin our engagement party?"
His offhand comment made Nora turn around in a fit of rage and glare at her fiancé. "How dare you accuse me of trying to ruin our party?"
"There's no other logic as to why you would invite her." He rolled his eyes, making Nora want to scream.
Regret began to seep slowly through the cracks of her heart before she shoved it back down again. She couldn't let him make her feel bad again. Not today.
"Because I forgive her."
"Forgive her? She nearly killed you!" He began to pace angrily around their room as Nora put the final touches on her outfit.
She took a moment to put her ring back on again. It hung loose around her finger, reminding her she had to get it tightened. It wasn't the right fit.
"No," Nora said eventually. "She nearly killed herself. I forgive her because she changed."
"No one can change from being a heartless villain to someone who is worthy of love. What she did to us-"
