Okay x This is obviously not going to happen (at least like this), but me and a friend thought that this would be a good finale to season 2 x and I am 13 so this wont come out the way I want it to be, but it's pretty easy to imagine x We came up with it after episode 2x04, Memory Lane btw x
(Elena and Stefan, late summer night. Sunset.)
Elena: It's so nice and peaceful here. Quiet. It hasn't been like this for so long.
Stefan: Elena, I know there's been so much trouble going on, with Katherine and everything else, but I need to ask you this...
Elena: What is it? You can tell me anything, you know that. Is something wrong?
Stefan: Not exactly,no. It's right. Elena. I've told you this so many times, but I love you. And I always will. I want to be here to protect you from everything. And I want to help you when things get bad. I want to be with you, and no-one else ,so will you marry me?
Elena: Stefan... I love you too. You know that too. But, I- I need time to think about this, and what might happen.
Stefan: Okay. Come on. I'll drive you home.
(At Elena's house)
Elena: Thank you.
Stefan: I'll talk to you tomorrow. Bye.
(Inside)
Elena: (Calls out) Jenna? Jeremy?
(No answer)
(Elena's room. Pacing in front of bed. Touches her vervain necklace from Stefan. Looks up slowly to her reflection in the mirror.)
Elena: Yes.
(Stefan's room)
Elena: Stefan? Are you here? Stefan?
(Door slams. Katherine appears.)
Katherine: Hello, Elena.
Elena: Katherine.
Katherine: I know why you're here. And your answer is no. He loves me. Not you.
(Katherine shoots forwards and stabs Elena. She crys outs and falls to the ground unconscious. Stefan bursts through door.)
Stefan: Elena!
Elena: (Weak) Stefan...
(Stefan throws Katherine against a wall. He picks up a broken piece of wood from the broken chair. Katherine and Stefan start fighting. He finally manages to pin her to the floor. He stakes her.
Stefan goes over to Elena, blood on the floor around her. He picks her up and puts her in his lap on the bed. Pulls the knife out of her stomach, putting pressure on the wound. Starts to give her his blood. She starts getting a bit stronger the more she drinks, but it's not enough.)
Elena: Stefan... I love you.
Stefan: No, Elena. You're going to be okay. Everything's going to be okay. You're going to get better. You have to.
Elena: I won't. You know that. And so do I.
Stefan: I love you.
Elena: I know.
(She closes her eyes. Stefan lays her gently back on the bed. Time starts moving really fast around Elena on the bed, Stefan pacing at the window really quickly, night changes to day, to night again. Elena suddenly sits up and gasps.)
Stefan: Elena!
