It was a dark Tuesday morning when I woke up. You could barely see anything outside my blinds but you knew what was there. Trees and the beautiful New York reservoir that would soon have the sun shining down on it, almost looking like a scene from mama Mia the movie.
Today was patriotic day in our district. The students got to show their spirit by wearing red, white, and blue to wave the 8th graders goodbye as they take their trip to Boston. My companion, Remi, thought it was a good idea to wear our trump merchandise since it was usually the colors red, white, or blue. Remembering that, I slipped on my black T-shirt with the words TRUMP, as well as my red beanie with the words trump 2020. I was ready for my day ahead. I made it to the school bus and finally ascended to school.
