We finally arrive at Winterfell after a long journey. My father has come to ask Ned Stark to be his new hand after Jon Aryn mysteriously passed away.

I'm wearing a red gown, which I hate wearing. My hair is in a braid crown being held together with a gold hair ribbon that has my houses sigil, a stag, on it.

My mother, siblings, and I step out onto Winterfell, it's a lot colder than expected.

Everyone kneels when they see my father.

They all stand up, "You've got fat," my father says to Ned. After a moment of silence they both laugh.

My father hugs Ned and Catelyn.

"Nine years- why haven't I seen you? Where the hell have you been?" My father says to Ned.

"Guarding the north for you, your grace. Winterfell is yours."

"Scarlett, come here," My father says grabbing my attention.

I walk over and I stand next to him.

"You remember Ned right?"

"Of course I do," I say.

"You've definitely grown up since then," Ned says.

"Well my lord, the last time we saw each other I was 7."

My father goes to each of Ned's kids introducing himself.

There's Robb.

Sansa with fiery red hair.

Arya.

Bran.

And Rickon.

I go back to stand next to my uncle Jaime.

My mother walks up and greets Ned and Catelyn.

"Take me to your crypt, I want to pay my respects," My father says.

"We've been riding for a month, my love. Surely the dead can wait," my mother says.

"Ned." My father walks towards the crypt and Ned follows.

My mother walks up to Jaime and me. "Where's our brother? Go find the little beast. Help him, Scarlett."

She walks away and I look up at Jaime, "We both know what he's doing."

"Let's go."

Jaime and I walk around until we hear a girl moaning.

"You can go in," I say.

"Probably a good idea."

Jaime walks outside without Tyrion.

"I thought the whole plan was to get Tyrion?"

"Well, that didn't work."

There are way too many people at this feast so I walk outside for some fresh air. The night is cold, much colder then I'm used to.

I see Jon Snow, Ned Starks Bastard, training.

I clear my throat getting his attention.

He turns around.

"Oh sorry, my lady I didn't see you there."

"Please no my lady, Scarlett will do just fine, "I say with a smile.

"Of course."

"How about instead of fighting a dummy, you fight a real person."

"And who would that be?"

"Me."

"You?"

"Yes, me."

"Can you even use a sword."

I scoff, "My uncle, 'The Kingslayer', has been training me."

He hands me a sword.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, I'm sure."

I strike hard first but he blocks it. It surprises him a little.

He strikes but I block it.

It goes back a forth like this, then I get an opening, I trip him causing him to fall on his back with a loud thud.

I put my arm out and he grabs my forearm and I grab his. His face is close to mine.

"You're good," he whispers

"Thanks," I whisper back

We hear someone clear their throat and we pull away. It's Tyrion.

"Scarlett do you always have to be training?" he says.

I just roll my eyes at him.

"Well it's freezing so I'm going to head back inside, good night Jon Snow, Tyrion," I say.

"Night Scarlett," Jon says.

"Night."
