Rebuilding a bridge with God - Genesis 1

Oh Lord, how can we forget

Your great gift of life on this set

We rarely read this book, still you let

You give us limbs so perfect, hope you don’t regret

How we used these to run away and neglect.

In Genesis 1 you created

This world, the night full of stars seemingly bounded

The day with a great light that accommodated

Animals of the wild, vegetation, still it’s not completed

For on the 6th day our kind was made, but quickly became separated

The love you shown, today has become elusive

For neighbors fight near the Garden of Eden, destructive

In the darkest days, where light maybe inactive

We pray for your guidance of this narrative.

Today I am without a Job, It’s been like that for a while. Gaming has taken over my life, and has slowly ate up my time. For time = Life, you waste your time you’re wasting your life. I am down to my last money my tax return .I was inspired by pastor Stanley Djoberg. I set up my lab equipment’s and I bought myself a bible

For this token of surrender. I wave my white flag to God, that he may forgive me for not doing enoughThat he may allow me a second chance, today I’ve uninstalled the game I got addicted to.

My virtual items are no more less than $200. As Jesus said “Truly I tell you, it is hard for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of heaven.  Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.

I invite you to join me with this renewed hope and Love, surrendering is never easy today is my Genesis 1, Today while I write this letter and poem, the brilliance of the sunlight glows greater from time to time, I feel this river of electricity flowing from my heart. I feel the love of God and I’ve never been more excited to surrender

If I may share to you a short story, in fact my favorite from the book of Genesis, Abraham was asked by God to surrender Isaac, because of faith in Our Lord he surrendered promptly, early in the morning Abraham and Isaac went to the regions of Moriah. As Abraham placed Isaac on top of the wooden pallet, Abraham raised his knife to offer his son as a burnt offering, at the crucial moment God’s angels called upon Abraham to not proceed with slewing his beloved son. At the corner of his eyes he saw a ram stuck by its horn on some bush plant. The ram became the substitute as it was offered up unto the Lord instead of Isaac.

Some 2000 years later in the same mountainous region of Moriah, A different being was placed on a wood. Now the wood was shaped like a cross where Jesus was willingly offered to die for our sins. There was no substitute this time. Jesus became the sacrificial lamb, God is love, God is Hope, God is Forgiveness, God is the light, and thru sins we have separated ourselves from all of those. Jesus had to come so we may rebuild back the bridge we once had with God.
