"Come on, Ayla. Stop being lazy." Lela said as she looked down at me.

"I have a cut." I mumbled and stared at the cut on my knee. I'm not sure how the hell I got it, but it's there and it's bleeding.

"How the hell have you managed to already get hurt?" Jason questioned and I shrugged.

Cole rolled his eyes as he walked away. I held myself back from flicking him off as he walked.

Lela woke me up today, saying she'd be training me. I'm not sure why the hell I agreed, but it would be a good distraction in a way. I want to let go of all the hurtful memories of my father giving me away. I probably shouldn't be making friends with these people, but they haven't given me a reason not to (besides Cole). And I should accept that I'm stuck here whether I like it or not. I want to find a way to escape, but it's impossible with all the guards that surround the area. It's hard for me to accept that I'm stuck here, but I can start by making friends so this won't be hell for me.

Cole walked back over to us and crouched down in front of me. I watched with furrowed eyebrows as he pulled the scraps off of a bandaid and put it over my cut on my knee.

"Get up and train with Lela." He said, standing up as I looked at the SpongeBob bandaid.

I'm not even going to question why they have SpongeBob bandaids.

"Look. It's SpongeBob." I muttered, smiling as I looked up at them.

Cole let out a sigh and gave Lela a look before walking away from us. Jason held a hand down to me and I grabbed it, letting him pull me up.

Jason backed away and Lela stood with her fists raised. I raised my fists as well and got in position, getting serious.

Keith, Miley, and I would always train together. We love each other to death, but that didn't stop us from going hard on each other during training.

"Don't hold back. I want to know your strength." Lela said as Jason stepped to the side to watch.

I swung my fist at her face, but she brought her arm up and blocked it. She landed a punch to my side and I stumbled back with a slight groan.

Lela went to kick my side, but I grabbed her ankle and yanked hard, causing her to fall.

She stared up at me with a slight smirk and I held my hand to help her up. She took my hand and pulled hard, making me fall beside her.

"I should've known you'd do that." I sighed.

"You need to eat more." She said, poking at my exposed stomach.

"I eat enough." I mumbled and pulled my shirt down to cover myself.

"You have a beautiful body, Ayla. And I do not mean to upset you, but I haven't seen you eating properly." Lela spoke as she stood up and helped me up.

I decided on ignoring what she said mainly because she's right. I've been so distracted with cleaning with the maids and cleaning the basement while also trying to get used to being here that I haven't really been eating well.

I began walking away, but Jason grabbed my arm, his touch gentle.

"Where are you going?" He asked. "You still have to fight me."

"I'm tired." I replied and took his arm off of me. "Maybe another time."

I walked out of the training room and went to the basement. I'm not that tired, but it was an excuse to not have to fight Jason. He might just kill me.

I grabbed my phone and put my earbuds in, listening to music as I began to clean the room. I finished the floor last night, so now I'm cleaning the walls. I feel a bit proud of myself for finishing the floors. I've put hard work in cleaning this room so that I can make it my room.
