Heaven

Up here on the very peek of a hill

I see everything laid out before me

captivating my mind as the stars glow like

little fireflies of the night

Up here I can reminiscing just how far

we have come

I never knew a person so sweet could exist

in a world so sour

you came into my life and turned things

upside down

right side up

sideways

I began to think differently

when all there was

was me

and all there was was you

you taught me how to breath

life in and never let out a single

breath

you taught me to take a precious moment

and run with it faster than any average person

could

it is because of you I am more

human than I ever thought I

could be

Its because of you I am not a monster

like Frankenstein was

but come to think about it may be

Frankenstein was not a monster

just someone who wanted to be loved

so deeply

so passionately

that the heart exploded with

gratitude and satisfaction

Yes, up here on the very peek of a hill

I am so elated that I hear fireworks at

the corner of my mind
