Hello guys! So I haven't been getting as many comments as I used to get, and I think it has to do with me being gone for so long, but I promise I am back. So please, take at least 10 seconds to comment with something nice! Your comments mean the world to me, and when I start my new stories, I don't want to have to ask for a certain amount of comments to post the next chapter, I just want to be able to know that I have loyal enough fans who will comment without me making them, ya know? Anyway, here is chapter 25 of My Echo! ENJOY! :)

Mikey paced back and forth in Deborah's kitchen while she frantically looked through her cabinets, trying to find where she had stored Amanda's address. His mind was running wild with images of what could be going on between Rachel and her mother right now, and none of them were pleasant. He shook his head lightly, willing the thoughts to leave before he turned to Deborah just as she threw her hand in the hair, a piece of paper gripped tightly.
"I'VE GOT IT!" She yelped, a wide smile appearing on her tired face. Mikey mirrored her smile, trying to show excitement though all he could feel was scared.
"Then let's go, now!" He ordered as he shuffled out of the kitchen, Deborah right behind him as they scurried into her car and quickly took off.
"She lives about two hours away from here..." her soft voice spoke up after a moment of driving and Mikey's eyes widened.
"Two hours?" He squeaked, swallowing softly, "But if something bad has already happened? Or what if it hasn't, but does in the next two hours?" He squeezed his eyes shut, trying to banish the gruesome images of Rachel that were now playing throughout his mind like a movie, but it was no use. His stomach churned and took a deep breath, "It'll be okay," he muttered to himself; quiet enough so only he could hear, "Everything will be okay. She's just visiting, you're over reacting."
"You really love her, don't you?" Deborah's quiet voice echoed through the car; they had been driving for exactly two hours, and Mikey was getting anxious. He looked at the aging woman from the corner of his eye, and shook his head softly.
"Yes," he replied, his voice shaking, "And I don't know why I'm reacting like this, but I'm worried. I'm in love with Rachel, and I haven't even told her how much I love her!" He sighed in frustration, running his fingers through his tasseled hair, "We've been together for six months, but I could never figure out how to tell her how much I loved her, so I didn't. I didn't think she was going to go back; I didn't think she'd need closer. And now I'm scared that something bad is going to happen, and I won't ever be able to tell her just what she means to me," a small drop of liquid rolled down his red cheek and he wiped it away quickly, turning his head to look out the window, "A few weeks ago me and Rachel went to a carnival," he revealed slowly, keeping his eyes glued on the ocean which was right beside the highway, "And we passed one of those psychic people. I thought it was bull shit, but Rachel wanted to try it out. And she looked at me with her deep brown eyes, and a pout on her lips, and I couldn't resist, so I went in. She did her normal thing, and then sent Rachel out for a moment, and she told me something bad was going to happen to someone I cared for in the month. She warned me, and said a bunch of other things and I am so scared. I can't help but think that this is what she was talking about," the tears were flowing freely now, but he didn't even bother to wipe them away, he knew more would come anyway, "I've never believed in that stuff before, but at this very moment, it's all I can think about." His voice shook with every word as he looked down at his phone, sliding his thumb over the picture of Rachel he was now staring at.
"It'll be alright, Michael," Deborah's firm voice sounded a moment later as they pulled in front of a house, "We're here," she breathed, and Mikey shot out of the car. He stared at the red door that Rachel had been in front of only hours before, and his heart skipped a beat. Suddenly a loud bang sounded from the house, followed by an ear piercing scream. Mikey's eyes widened as he ran to the door, throwing it open without even knocking; it had been a gun shot. His eyes trailed down to the floor, and followed a pool of blood. His stomach flipped, and as soon as his eyes fell upon the face that the blood belonged to, he let out a blood curdling scream.
