I hate when stories start off this way but, in order to understand me you have to know me, my name is Rose Gibbons and this is my journey fitted into a story line (sorta) for you.
My favorite food is pretty much everything since I just love food in general; It didn't help that my family is African American and so am I nevertheless, the food is always bomb at somebody's house no matter the occasion or celebration. I live in Saint Louis with my immediate family of seven and my other close family that consists of some many people that I don't care to count, let's just say there is a lot of distant family and close family.
I'm probably going to tell you more information as my story goes on but, for now you probably want to know a little bit more about me. I was born June 10, 2000 so i'm 18 going on 19 right now and personally speaking, life Is rough especially, going to college but I finished my first year in college a couple of weeks ago in a predominately white college and let me tell just say that's a entirely different story.
Loving myself is one of the hardest things I had to do especially after devoting myself to someone for 3 1/2 years and being friends with them before a relationship even started. I didn't put all my eggs in one basket but I don't know if I could have helped myself to get away from some unforeseen events that Carter put me through. I needed to better myself and leave people that seemed to be there for me and weren't, behind. Loving Me is Loving yourself and that's the hard part.
