*Ross' POV
I woke up to my alarm ringing at 11:30 exactly like most mornings. I turned it off, sat up, rubbed the sleep out of my eyes and got out of bed to go get ready for the busy day ahead.
As I walked to the bathroom I heard singing mixed with the sound of water running. "Damn it, Riker's in the bathroom again." "This should take all morning" I thought to myself before going down the stairs to get some breakfast. Riker's the oldest out of the five kids. After him there's Rydel, Rocky, me and Ryland.
As I got closer to the kitchen the smell of food grew stronger. "PANCAKES!" I screamed and ran in the room, almost hitting Ryland in the process. "Dude, watch it!" he screamed at me. Of course I was too busy shoving pancakes in my face to care.
"Hey, save some for the other boys, Ross." Rydel said to me before handing me a plate. "thanks." I smiled at her, mouth full of food. "Gross!" she yelled before pushing me to the table. I sat down and proceeded to shove pancakes in my mouth. I checked the time. It was now 12:00 somehow. Did I really take that long to eat? "What time do we have to be at the venue?" I asked Rydel. "2:00. And it takes an hour without traffic to get there so we need to leave soon." I answered.
"Okay, thanks." I said before getting up from the table, stealing more pancakes and sitting down again. "Ross! I said save some! Now I have to make more!" Rydel yelled at me. "Sorry." I said quietly.
"Hey! Could you guys keep it down?!? I'm trying to sleep!" Rocky yelled at us from his bedroom. "You should be up anyway, Rocky!" Rydel yelled to him. Riker walked in right after, as if on cue. "Yes! Finally!" I said, jumping up from the table.
"I wasn't in there very long!" Riker said. "Yeah, an hour and a half isn't long at all!" I yelled sarcastically at him. "It wasn't that long. It was only like an hour." He said as if it were obvious. "Don't take to long in there, Ross. We're leaving for sound check in 10 minutes!" MacKenzie said, Yelling the last part to make sure I got it. "Yeah, I know, wouldn't want to be late!" I yelled sarcastically to Riker again.
I walked in, shut the door and proceeded to get ready for the long work day ahead. I took a shower, changed, fixed my hair, shaved my face and brushed my teeth all in under 30 minutes. "I honestly don't know what takes Riker so long in here." I thought as I opened the door to walk out.
As I walked out, completely ready and looking hot as ever, I saw Riker and said "All in under 30 minutes." gesturing to my hot, clean body. Rydel, Rocky and Ryland were headed out the door. "Come on, Boys! We're gonna be late!" Rydel yelled. "I'm coming!" I yelled back, walking behind a slow Riker. "Move!" I said, pushing him out the door. "Don't rush me!" He said before he sped up some. We got in the bus and I prepared myself for the long journey ahead. We picked up Ellington from his moms house before we headed down the long road to the venue.
We pulled up to venue and there was already some fans there. One of which was my best friend Dakota. She was tall for a girl I guess. About 5'8. She was still short to me though. But then again everyone is. Anyway, she had dyed, Burgundy hair like Ariana Grande did on Victorious and big bright hazel/green eyes. and if you can't tell, yes she's a girl. And no we're not dating. Everyone always thinks we are and it bugs me to no end. She's way younger than me anyway. Even if she looks and acts my age.
I walked up to Dakota and greeted her with a hug. She always gave the best hugs. That was one of the many reasons she was my best friend. "Hey Ross." She said while hugging me. "Hey I said not letting go, getting lost in her hug, like I always do. "You can let go now." She said laughing a little. "Oh. Right." I said letting go.
"So are you gonna go meet those fans?" She asked. "Yeah, of course." I said "Let's go." I grabbed her hand and pulled her with me as I ran to the small crowd of about 10 to 15 fans.
