Chapter 9 - Memories: Heartbroken

//After One Month / Y/N's POV//

"Great job guys! We did this!!", Sunny unni announced as we all did a group hug.

"Congrats guys", all the staff oppa's and unni's came rushing to join in this celebratory moment after our grand debut at Mnet Countdown.

After coming out of backstage I was walking through the hallways towards our assigned room when, "Y/N!", I suddenly heard a voice shout my name out as I turned around to see who it was.

"Oh Jungkook?!", I exclaimed as he ran up to me like a child and gave me a bear hug completely suffocating me.

"Congrats!!!!!", he screamed like one of those excited demonic kids, while totally suffocating me.

"U..h..Jung..Kook...can't...B-b..breathe."

"Oh, oops sorry!", and finally he pulled back, while I was busy hungrily gasping for air.

"It's fine", I replied in complete relief..

Yep, after that encounter a few weeks ago, both of us ended up becoming friends, and yeah we tended to hang out whenever we were free as well.

"Em...you free tonight?", he suddenly asked.

"Uh....Yeah...", as I replied quite unsure.

"Jungkook!", but then again, we heard a staff member call out of no where.

"Ok then, meet me near the lake!", he exclaimed as he ran away leaving me completely zoned out about what had just happened.

"Guys! We are out on a celebratory dinner!", I heard our manager announce as I felt goosebumps now all over me.

"Em...", I mumbled.

"Yes, Y/N?", I heard Rosé unni ask rather worried.

"I'm not feeling that well. Em..Shall I pass?", I asked because obviously, I can't let them know about Jungkook. They would take it in a wrong way. He asked me out first afterall, and if I reject it now it would be so unfair for him.

Gawd! Help meeee!!!

I saw everyone nodding respecting my decision as our manager spoke, "Ok then. Y/N you should go rest now. Come with me, I'll drop you off first."

"Ah...No need oppa I can manage", I smiled guiltily as he agreed, getting a bit suspicious, I guess? But I couldn't care less as I walked out of the room.

It's almost an hour since I came here, and Jungkook's nowhere to be seen. Can't help it tough, he must be busy since BTS's comeback too was today. Hence, the usually impatient me decided to wait patiently, till his arrival.

Quiet.

It was acctually a bit too quiet.

Well it did seem explainable, since it was already past 9 PM. Deciding to waited a bit more was when, I finally caught a silhouette of a person.
I squinted my eyes to improve my vision while the figure kept coming closer. Growing uncomfortable, it was all till I caught the sight of his face.

"Jungkook..?", I asked and it all happened in a split second.

While closing my eyes I felt his breath hit my face as I opened them back to see a pair of Crimson eyes staring right back at me. Unable to utter a single word, I just stood there.

Frozen.

Seeing those sharp fangs of his grow, while bringing me more and more closer to him, I ended up doing something really stupid.
