WE DIDN'T MEAN TO

CHAPTER 1

(Pardon any mistakes as one of us is still in middle school, and the other is dyslexic.)

It all started one sunny summers day. Gabriella, who was hanging out with Dylan and Jasper. The trio has been friends for several years. Gabby was smiling happily and giggling at something Jasper did. It was hard to believe that this was the same girl that was emotionless and unresponsive.

Gabby playfully pushed Jasper, before kissing his cheek. "You're so funny Jas!" She spoke sweetly, before standing up. "Let's gooo play!"

Dylan smiled at the two. He watched with jealousy but didn't say anything. He loved how hyper they could be.

Jasper laughed
"Hey D,are you coming your just staring into space" he asked causing gabs to laugh loudly and smiled a big smile. Dylan sighed and stood up
"Wait up then"

Gabby cheered and began running around the fields in joy. She then face planted into a creak that she hadn't noticed. "Owieee....." She whines.

Jasper laughed
"Such a klutz" he said with a cheeky grin. The sun beamed  down on them like a spotlight. The light summers breeze gently moving gabbys blond hair into her face

Dylan finally caught up to them
"Do you guys ever walk slow" he asked seeing gabby in the creak
"And how did you end up in there"

Gabby whined at them both. "Stop being such a flipping fiddle stick and help me out of here Jasper!" She then grinned and dragged them both in.

Jasper and Dylan laughed filling the ditch with loud laughed and joy. The group were know for pranks and just pure messing about in their high school. They were some of the loudest people the other students knew. Gabby let a squeal out as she felt hands on her. "Oiiiii. Hands off boys!" She then realizes that neither of them were even close.

Both boys looked at each other before both of the boys confused gazes looked at the girl
"We aren't near you gabs" said jasper. Dylan's green eyes looked at her with pure worry and concern
"Yeah are you okay" he asked. They both waited for the girl to respond. She bit her lip, spotting a creature. "I-I....." She began stuttering before bolting off into the woods.

The woods were known to be creepy and some say haunted. No one knows how true this is however but what people do know is that there is a mansion deep in the woods but it's been  abandoned for years and no one has ever been in it.

The boys looked at each other worried and concerned.
"Gabs wait" they both yelled Teri voices merging into one as they bolt after her wanting to make sure she was okay. Gabby didn't, and before anyone could do anything else, her screams pierced the air. It was such a painful and horrifying to hear, sending shivers down the boys spines.

The boys both looked at each other with worry,fear,concern and tone of other emotions hit them like a ton of bricks. They kept running until  there lungs felt like they would give out
"Gabriella" they both yelled. The girl didn't respond.... And blood coated the green grass below their feet. Her necklace was what was left there.

The boys both looked at each other as Dylan picked up the necklace of the girl he loved. Tears filled both their eyes looking at the dreaded mansion ahead of them.
"We have to look inside" said Dylan. Anger in his voice
"She has to be Alive". Jasper nods. "Okay..." He whispers, eyes filled with tears. The girl he had a massive crush on, but didn't dare to tell,, was gone.
