Post duos annos.
"Mommy, mommy" Titi began to cheer when she saw her in the screen.
Nakangiti ang mommy niya habang may kausap na kaibigan.
"Daddy, when can we see her in person?" Titi asked habang nakatingin kami sa screen ng computer.
"Soon baby"
"When is soon?"
"Malapit na"
"Ok" sabi nito at saka bumaba mula sa kandungan ko. Nandito kami ngayon sa office. She likes staying with me kaya kalahati ng opisina ko ay mga laruan niya and I do not mind.
"Do you want to play with me?" I asked her
"No daddy, you will just mess with my dolls"saad nito kaya natawa ako.
Tahimik lang siyang naglalaro lagi at nakakapagtrabaho naman ako kahit papaano.
Titi is really smart, tatlong taon lang siya but she talks like a boss.
"Daddy, will mommy play with me too when she comes back?"
"Of course, baby ka kaya niya"
"I missed her kasi I don't remember her hugs"
"I'm sure she misses you too and she'll give you lots of hugs when she comes home"
"Ok" sabi nito. For a moment ay naawa ako kay Titi. Napahilot ako ng sentido at tumawag kay Mayen
"Hello Kuya" she answered.
"Hey, can you pick Titi up today?" I asked. Two days ago naganap ang chemo ni Ica at di ko pa siya nabibisita.
"Ok" Agarang sabi ng kapatid ko, ni hindi man lang tumanggi.
"Kuya, how's Ica?" Mamya ay sabi niya.
"She's not really ok, pupuntahan ko siya mamya"
"Ok, ok ako na ang bahala kay Titi"
"Thanks" sabi ko at saka ibinaba ang telepono.
"Daddy, look" sabi ni Titi at pinakita ang drawing niya.
"This is me, ganda ko ano? This is mommy ko and this is you"
I kissed her cheek. "Galing mo naman mag-draw" I commented.
She chuckled. "Mabuti nalang kasi ikaw po di marunong"
I laughed and kissed her. "Pupunta ako sa hospital mamya, can you draw something for Ica?"
"Of course, wait daddy, I'll draw daffodils it's her favorite flower diba po? Tita Ica will feel better"
"Definitely" malungkot na sabi ko at pinagmasdan lang siyang magdrawing
"Can I go with you?" Mamya ay tanong niya.
"I'm sorry baby, bawal ang bata sa hospital remember?"
"Right, kawawa naman si Tita Ica di niya ako makikita"
"Tita Ica loves you so much you know right? "
"Opo, and I love her too."
"Can you sing a song for her? I'll video it so she can hear and see you, how about that?"
"Ok, dali na Daddy, ready na ako" she said excitedly at tumayo na mula sa pag do-drawing.
I fished my phone at niready ko siyang videohin.
