hi, my name is emma, emma chamberlain.

then there's my best friend, grayson

we were born on the exact same day, at the same time, in Los Angeles California.

our moms were BFFS before people used the term "bff", so we were raised like twins and we've been pretty much inseparable ever since.

i really don't remember a lot from before high school but for as long as i can remember, grayson and i have absolutely loved to dance.

anyways a lot of stuff has happened between now and then.

let me get you up to speed.

first Christmas i remember, i was six.

i got a barbie dance party

grayson got a scooter

broke my leg riding grayson's scooter

had my cast signed by grayson, who brought me ice cream to make up for breaking my leg.

dressed as a cowboy for halloween

grayson went as a doctor

learned how to ride a bike

learned how to swim

got protected by grayson's older brother ethan, who chased off some bullies who were hassling us.

had to pay protection tax though

discovered the place that we loved to dance most.

watched lee catch his first fish

watched ethan in his first fight

he won

dressed as a fireman for halloween

grayson went as some weird bird

found out that my mom was sick

went to visit her in the hospital for the first time

tried to get use to seeing her there

got in a fight with lee over who's the best dancer

made up by getting him ice cream

for im a fight with ethan for beating up grayson

made up with ethan by letting him fix my bike

he's so handy

got my first bra

didn't really need it

discovered i like soccer

discovered a way to get to our favorite place to dance

discovered i wasn't gonna be a fashion icon

discovered i am good at sports

had a tough talk with dad

sat with mom in the hospital

i tried to help her put makeup on

not much help

held her hand a long time

only cried when she was asleep

tried to score my first kiss with Cameron Dallas.

wasn't exactly a love connection

watched ethan getting really, really cute

watched ethan in yet another fight.

went as a pirate for halloween

had a lot to say

an: so this took me a very long time and i hope this book goes well due to how much work i'm doing. this chapter took me over 30 mins due to having to pause and write down every single caption.  the part that i got to was 3:55 and it took me 30 mins... i'm making a trailer rn and will make sure to add it when it's finished. i hope you like this book and know that this is going to probably be longer than the movie. i'm gonna add a lot to it and i'm excited. hope you enjoyed the kissing booth :)
