Untamed| Part four

Roman was driving with Faith and Hope, it was evening and starting to get dark.

Roman spoke up, "We should stop at a gas station and get some snacks we still have a lot of hours left and won't get there till morning."

Faith dug into her pocket for money but couldn't find any, "Oh, crap, I left my wallet at the school."

"Don't worry I got you!" Hope said pulling out a twenty dollar bill.

Roman sighed and looked at Faith, "You don't worry about paying." He looked back at Hope through the mirror, "And put your money away, I can just compel, perks of being a vampire."

Faith smiles back at Hope and then at Roman.

They had finally made it too the gas station and they all walked in together and Roman made his way to the front where the cash register was.

He looked closely into the workers eyes beginning to compel him. "My friends and I are going to take whatever we want from this store and you won't react nor will you care and forget you saw us here."

The cashier shook his head agreeing.

The three teens went to the back near the drink section.

"We all get one drink and one snack?" Hope asked.

"Yea." Faith said.

"Sounds good." Roman added.

Hope and Roman had already chosen their drinks but they were still waiting on Faith.

"Any day now..." Hope said in annoyance.

"I'm trying, really but I can't decide between Coke or Pepsi." Faith said looking at the two drinks.

"Get Pepsi!" Hope said. "Get Coke." Roman said making the two overlap each other.

Roman and Hope began to argue over which was better which caused a scene and Faith noticing.

Faith but in, "Hey, Hey! chill, I'll just get Dr. Pepper it isn't a big deal." Faith said taking a Dr. Pepper can.

They were now outside, Roman was pumping up gas, Hope was drinking her drink, and Faith was in the car with the door open eating hot cheetos. Faith got out of the car and stood next to Hope.

"So how long until we get there?" Hope asked.

"Yea, I feel like i've been in the car for forever." Faith added.

Roman looked at the girls, "About...six more hours." He said sorry.

Both of them groaned.

"Well if we keep stopping like this we'll never make it, so I'm gonna go to the bathroom while I can." Hope said and she went to the bathroom.

Faith walked closer to Roman who had just finished pumping gas. She ate one of her chips.

"Thank you for doing this really." Faith said and Roman put his arm around her as they were resting near the car.

"No problem if it makes you happy then I'm all for it." Roman said.

Faith giggled.

"What?" Roman asked Faith smiling at her laugh.

"Nothing it's just if this whole thing never happened, I wonder if we'd even be dating, or rather if you'd even like me." Faith said looking down.

"Are you kidding?, yea we might not be dating but of course I would like you. I mean it's impossible not to like you Faith." Roman said making him smile and Faith laugh.

Hope walked out of the bathroom and the couple snapped back into reality.

"So you guys ready, let's go." Roman said as he, Faith, and Hope headed to their destination.
