yesterday / or / whatever

will he do it?
that's the question on everybody's tongue..
will he have the guts to pull the trigger,
to make the first slice to his wrists.
will he open the cabinet under the sink and fill his stomach with the chemicals?
watch the tiny dots blur his vision as his mouth froths and his body sizzles to an end.
as he let's go, there's one thing on his mind.
a tall girl, too tall for her own good.
lopsided glasses that never sit right on her face.
her smile. pulling at her cheekbones to give way.
oh how he loved her.
oh how he wished he'd said he loved her.
but time has run too short, as he stares at the bleach, the blade, the pills. will he do it?
