With that he finally left and I went back to texting Ross my boyfriend.
Oh I guess I didn't introduce myself I'm Nicole but everyone calls me Nicky.
So before I was so rudely interrupted by Tristan I was in the middle of an intimate conversation with Ross.
I know it makes me sound a little absent minded but I trust Ross a lot and I always will .

"I'm coming mom" I shoot back.
Well here is the tea on my mom.
She is a super strict Catholic crazy lady. She wasn't always like that, ever since my dad left when I was nine. He was an alcoholic and sometimes hit my mom but eventually stopped when Tristan and I were old enough to understand what was going on.But my mom was strong and recovered quickly and became the mom I know today.I will always be grateful to her but I would admit she is a little over the top at times.
When I arrive downstairs the table is set with a turkey,mashed potatoes, my favourite gravy,mounds of salad and stir fry.
Did I forget some special occasion or something??
"Honey have a seat !" my mom chirped
"Umm okay.." now it's getting weird.
We all get seated and say grace.Even Tristan who is used to mom's behaviour looks strangely.
