Is life hard? Well, none of us actually know until we go through hard times.
There was once a girl who faced so much that a normals person would combust, but she was no ordinary girl. She was special. Her name was Beca Camp, and she had gone through things that you would never wish upon your worst enemy.
Before she was born her family was in turmoil, her grandparents didn't agree with her parent's decision to get married, they thought that they were too young and in the end both of her parents Marcus and Iris relationships with their families. The poor girl started losing family members before she was even born, and it didn't stop there. A few months before she was born her father died of prostate cancer, when it happened her mother almost went into labor, she could've lost her baby.
Beca was born healthy and grew to be strong, but the cruelness of life choose to victimize her yet again. When she was only nine years old her mother was killed in a car accident, and as she was born without her families knowledge, she had to go into the foster care system, and this just ensured that life was never to get any better.
Here is where she went from hell hole to hell hole, where her thoughts came to die, where life felt like a constant stormy day. Things never got better for Beca until she went to one foster family. It wasn't because the family treated her like she was the child that they were waiting for, no they actually hated her, they applied to take in a boy, not a girl, but that's what they got, they got a girl.
The day that Beca got to this home she knew that it wasn't going to be a good experience for her, they had a small house that was made of bricks, with long wooden shutters over the white framed windows. The interior of the house was so peaceful, tamed, it really made her feel like this was a place that she could call home. The floors were covered in dark oak wood panels, with cream walls and beige couches with pistachio cushions and the bedrooms were just as good.
They gave Beca two options for her room as they had two spare rooms, the smallest bedroom had sage-covered walls with a dark beige bed with cream covers, it had a white roof and a colossal window instead of a wall that was also white, it had to charcoal bedside tables with matching lamps on top of them, they had all of this with the dark oak panels on the floor. The second bedroom was even better most of the walls were mint green and the others were white, it had a bay window on one side that was white with pistachio, it had a dark oak four poster bed with white covers with a pistachio throw blanket on the end and matching pistachio cushions on it, it had white windows on the walls.
These rooms made her feel at home like this was a place that she belonged. So she picked the second bedroom as it made her feel like a princess, but she still had a bad feeling about this family, they just seemed to good to be true "so Beca are you going to be ok here?" her caseworker Elizabeth looked truly considered as she has basically raised Sam and she's grown fond of her, it would truly eat her up from the inside if she had found out that another family treated her badly, but it wasn't her choice to make, it was Beca's.
"Yeah, I think I'll be ok beth" Sam has been calling Elizabeth 'Beth' for years now, it made her feel like they were friends if she had a nickname, so that's what she did, she gave her a nickname. Elizabeth smiled at her and gave her a hug not wanting to let go but she knew that she was going to have to eventually let her go, but it was still something that she wasn't prepared to do, this young girl just meant too much to her.
"Yes Miss Rose, everything will be fine, she'll be fine" Elizabeth quickly snapped her head to look at Blake and Grace, the more that Blake said fine the more Elizabeth didn't trust them, but at the moment she just had to stay claim and let go of Beca, and not in the sense of she needed to figuratively let her go and move on with her life, no it was physically she needed to stop hugging Beca and let them bond.
"Now Beca" she said turning back to face the younger girl who was looking up at her with tears starting to form in her eyes "if you need me just give me a call, I'm only one call away and I'll be right her ok" Beca just nodded, she knew that if she tried to say something she would start crying. They hugged one more time, the Elizabeth let Sam go, with the loss of contact a tear ran down Sam's face, she didn't want Elizabeth to leave, but she also knew that she couldn't stay.
