The tiled floor glimmered dull ivory. The lockers that lined the corridor stood glumly, most were bare blue, some had papers posted or stucked on them. But one stood out, covered with so much post-it notes and papers, looking as if the person was making a paper-mache locker. There were students to talking to each other beside their lockers. Chattering excitedly, laughing loudly or being dismal and quiet.
Fiel felt eyes watching him with every step he took. He tightened his grip on Siegfried's sleeve. 'Weird' the word echoed in his brain. Of course, he thought, who would wear a robe in a modern world like this? He tried to picture what they see. A meek child in a hazel-brown robe tugging and following a gangster-kind-of-guy.
When Fiel was waken up from his accidental sleep in the car, he realized how the jeans Siegfried wore were faded with tears at the knees. He also noticed the gold padlock pendant around his neck and the silver chains circling his waist. 'What would Master say if he see me now...' Fiel's thoughts and imagination roamed while he subconsiously followed Siegfried.
"We're going to your homeroom class, so remember the way." Siegfried's voice snapped him out of his reveries.
"What is that?" Fiel looked at him doubtfully, as they took a left turn into another corridor.
"It's where you have to go every morning. Attendance would be taken and also the daily announcements , before going to class." Fiel looked at Siegfried's face, somehow feeling soothed at the smile he have.

After a few minutes, they arrived at the to door Fiel's homeroom class. 'So it IS near their class' Siegfried let out a deep sigh. Suddenly Fiel stood in front of him and stared into his eyes. His emerald green eyes were full of concern. Siegfried patted the kid's head and ruffled his hair. Then he kissed his forehead and led him, red-faced, into the class, unaware of being watched by group of students.
A girl in the group had scribbled something down on a black leather-bound book, smirked at the others around her, and snapped the book shut.
