Princess in Disguise

Chapter 2

"We are now heading to New York! Please don't use any electronic devices."

"Electronic devices? What's that?" Hmmm... I thought. "This is the captain speaking. Folks, ain't it a lovely day? Look out your windows to see the clear blue sky".

I looked at my window and I was amazed. "Woah... this is amazing..." I smiled. Then I heard a sound coming beside me. I was curious where the sound came from and it comes from that weird looking black rectangular shape.

"What is this thing?" I thought. "Hey, what are you doing? Why are you touching that?" The woman said. "Oh, um... I'm sorry, I was just curious. What is this... thing? Why is music coming out from this?"

"Heh, you must be so poor that you can't even afford this kind of stuff." She smirked. "THIS,is a phone." She said.

"Phone?.... how much is that... phone cost?" I said. "Why? Are you going to buy one? Oh please, I think you can't even afford food."

"Where do you buy this?" I questioned. "Your really annoying, you know that?" She sighed and put some earphones in her ears. "Hmm, okay... I guess she's not in the mood." I thought.

In the Aucrudura Kingdom...

Dad's P.O.V;
"Hmm, was I too much? No. I wasn't. I was just being a good father. I mean it's normal." I thought. "Hmm, I should apologize and explain to her. I mean it is for the greater good."

I went to her room. I saw that her clothes weren't there anymore. I was scared and hoped that she didn't ran away. I searched every place in the kingdom but she couldn't be found. Just then I saw Zara getting off the car.

"Zara! Rose is gone! And her clothes! She must've ran away. We have to find her!" I said but she just kept a straight face.

"I know." She said and I was shocked by her statement. "What do you mean?!" I yelled.

"I told her to go to the city. Why? Is there any problem with that?!" She said while raising her eyebrow. "Why would you do that?! She could be in danger. She's out there all alone. How are we supposed to take care of her?!" I exclaimed.

"Arthur! She can take care of herself! She's not a little girl anymore, okay? She'll be fine!" Zara explained.

"No she won't. I'm going after her!" I said. "Then go, but think about what she will feel. She can make a choice too. Why can't you just trust her?!"

I sighed and looked down. " I just want to protect her." I said. Zara touched my cheek. "I know, I want to protect her too. But, she's a lady now. And she wants to do something else rather than being here. She wants to have fun. Let's just be happy for her."She smiled.

"Hmm... okay then, I'll let her go for now. And your right, she can take care of herself. I mean, she is strong and brave" I said and she nod. We hugged each other. 

"Let's go inside." She said and I followed.

After an hour...

We arrived at last. I yawned and scratched my back. "Gosh, I can't believe I'm really here. " I smiled.
I took my bag and luggage and went outside.

"There sure are lots of card here. Hmm,what do I do first?" I thought. "Ah let's go buy a phone! Yeah! I said excitedly. But then I was lost. I forgot I don't know this place yet.

I saw a woman so I went to her hoping she knows where it is. "Um, excuse me, ms? Um, I'm kind of lost. Do you know where to buy a phone?" I said.

"Yeah, just go over there." She said while pointing the direction. "Thank you." I said and followed where she pointed.

At last, I'm finally here. I went inside and saw a lot of phones. "Woah"
I looked at it. "Hmmm."

"Excuse me, would you like to buy this  ma'am? " the lady said. "Oh, um... yeah. How much is this?" I questioned. "It's $1 019." She said. "Let's go to the counter. " she said and I followed her.

I gave my money to the lady and I took my phone. I went outside and sit on the bench. I took my phone out of the box. "Hmm, how do you turn this on?" I thought.

I longed press the button on the side and it turned on. "Okay then". The screen turned white and a word came out. "SAMSUNG"

Then it went to home screen. "Now, what do I do with this?." I thought then I felt hungry. "I should eat first." I  took a yellow car and told the driver to go to a food place.

"Um, sir... what do you call this?" I questioned. "What do you mean miss?" He answered. "Oh, I mean this yellow car? Why do you let someone ride on this? And why do you take money after the person arrive at it's chosen destination?"

"Well, you see miss... this yellow car is called "TAXI". This is called transport services.  The driver will take the money because he took him into his chosen destination. Y'know, they exchanged. The driver take you to your place and you gave him some money. Like that. " He explained. "Oh, I get it"

"Why? You never ride experience riding this?" He said. "Well, I did. I can go to whatever places I want to go but I don't pay the driver. My parents does."

"Oh, so he's your driver?" He said and I nod. "Okay we're here. That'll be $56." I gave him the money and I thanked him.

"Mmm, smells good" I said and I went inside. I sat down and waited. Then a lady comes to my table. "Hi, what will you order for today miss?" She smiled.

"Oh, um... I would like some food." I smiled back. "Um, yeah but what kind of food. Well, we're have our specialty.  It's Iced Hot Chocolate with Mint." She said.

"I'll take that instead." I smiled and waited for my order. Then the waiter came and put the food on my table. "Yum!" I said. "Oh! Wait, there maybe a camera in this thing right?" I thought and took out my phone.

"There it is!" I smiled. I took a picture of it.

I put my phone on my bag and started to eat. "Mmm, it's cold but I love it! I smiled and sighed. "I already love it".
