Chapter 11

Day 2 Part 1 - "Think rationally"

With a hum, I stretched inside my bed and yawned loudly before opening my eyes to adjust my vision to the ceiling.

After fully waking up, I looked around the room before blinking repeatedly to know if it was actually reality.

I rubbed my eyes and looked at my hand.

A very big, muscular hand with long fingers... A manly hand that didn't belong to me... but to Jeon Jungkook.

My mind started freaking out as my breathing accelerated. I couldn't have possibly stayed in Jungkook's body after a day passed?

Furiously pulling off the covers, I jumped off the bed to dash into the bathroom. The mirror showed me Jungkook's face and I gasped before screaming at the top of my lungs.

The hysterical sound of Jungkook's scream was the last thing on my mind as I dropped to the ground with my hands running all over my face and hair, panting harshly, my mind racing.

The door busted open, revealing an agitated and messy girl who definitely just woke up by me.

"Y/N, what- What happened," he slurred, his eyes fighting to open.

"J- Ju-" I panted, looking up at him still in my body. "We- We're no-"

"What?" He kept blinking to snap out of his daze.

"We didn't switch back!" I yelled.

He blinked repeatedly with his brows furrowed before looking up at the mirror on the wall that caused him to widen his eyes in shock.

"Wha- How could- This-" He couldn't form a sentence, stuttering as he stared at his reflection in the mirror.

"What the fuck is this?!" I shouted before forcing myself to stand up. "Why are we still not switched back?! We should be switching back and forth like before!"

He yelled as well, "As if I know what's happening!"

"Why are you yelling at me?!"

"Why are you yelling at me?!" He retaliated, widening his eyes at me.

"It's all because of you!"

His eyebrows jumped. "Pardon?"

"This wouldn't have happened if you-"

"Stop with that," he hissed, placing his hand on my mouth to shut me up. "You know full well that blaming game leads to nothing. We should think rationally in this situation where we're both confused!"

Think rationally, he says...

I mumbled something against his palm, making him retract his hand.

"What's there to think rationally about? Waking up in someone else's body isn't rational, functioning in someone else's body isn't rational, staying in his body after a day has passed isn't rational!"
