This chapter is long because I didn't know how to make chapters. But I do now but I'm to lazy to fix it. Anyways I hope you enjoy!
Chapter 1:
"Jamie! Wake up, it's your first day of high school!" My mom yells from downstairs. I groan, not wanting to get up, so I put the pillow over my head.
"Jamie!" She yells from downstairs.
"I'm up!" I say annoyed. Today is my first day of being a Senior. But I'm nervous and I don't know what it's going to be like. I hope it's an easy year.
In case you didn't notice, my name is Jamie. I guess you can call me your typical high school girl. I'm Hispanic, I'm 14, and have long brown hair, hazel eyes, and I guess I'm fit. I'm not exactly popular. I guess I'm kinda in the middle.
I get out of bed and go to my dresser to get my underwear and bra. I look at the time and it's 7:00. School usually starts at 9:25.
I grab a towel and take a quick shower. I get out and dry myself off. I put on my underwear and bra when I'm all dry. I walk to my closet and grab a white crop top and black skinny jeans and my white converse. After I curl my hair I look in the mirror and see that I need a hair cut. Long thick hair can get annoying sometimes but you get used of it. Kinda.
After I'm ready for school I start to head downstairs. I trip on the last stair. Yeah, I'm quite clumsy. I'm not the only one who is clumsy so don't judge.
I walk to the kitchen and I see my parents at the table. My dad with a newspaper in his hand and in his suit and tie for work. My mom is in the kitchen making breakfast.
Not to brag but my mom makes the best breakfast. Well, I guess everyone thinks their moms food is the best huh? Anyways, my mom is making pancakes, eggs, potatoes, bacon, and hash browns.
My mom just finished cooking, when there was a knock at the door.
"I got it!" My mom said. "Jamie, babe, your ride is here!" I walk to the door and I see one of my best friends Samantha. She's been my friend for as long as I can remember.
"Hey Samantha!" I hug her and she hugs back. I look outside and I see a blue mustang. "Hey, is that your new car?"
"Yeah, do you like it?" she tells me and looks at it.
"Yes! I love the color, it's a nice shade of blue." I say looking at it. "You hungry?" I ask her and she smiles.
"Starving!"
"Then come on in. Mom made a big breakfast." Stepping aside so she can walk in. She walks to the kitchen and greets my parents. I close the door behind her and follow.
"Mmm, smells good Mrs. Garcia" Samantha smiles.
"Thank you Samantha. You excited for school?" She asks.
"Kinda. Get to see some new and old faces." Samantha smiles.
"I know Jamie is excited. She couldn't stop talking about it last night." Mom looks at me.
"That's because I didn't and still don't want to go." I tell her and Samantha chuckles.
"You never want to go to school Jamie." She says.
"Exactly! But nooo, I'm being forced to go against my will." I frown.
"Alright, now before you guys go, eat some food." My mom tells us. We all eat breakfast and drink some juice or coffee.
After we finish, we put our dishes in the sink and help clean. I grab my bag I say bye to my parents and walk outside with Samantha.
We got into her car and went to school. Once we got there, wee looked at each other's schedule and see what classes we have with each other. We only have 1st, 5th, and 8th period together. We have the same lunches though. So that's good.
