Where It All Started

Richard (SungBin):

I was only 7/8 years old when I arrived in Singapore with my family. My siblings and I will occasionally stay in the States during short vacations when we are younger cause my uncle (aka the ABC sisters' father) and his family were there, so in the way we have some basis in our English plus having some English books at home. It is not easy cause it is hard to find some South Koreans here till my first day in school when I met Sollie whom the school often call Annie. It only took 3 weeks after we first met to know that our fathers are actually former schoolmates back in Busan! We sort of got closer from there...

Annie (HaeSol):

I worried for real when I first came to Singapore that I might hardly get along with any of my new classmates till my first day of primary school when I first encounter SungBin. I was quite surprised the teachers all call him and his siblings by their English names. They have the strong Busan accent but their English standard is honestly better than some of the overseas students which then SungBin told me that he has actually vacationed in the States before cause his Uncle is there and I was like "Okay...". I think what pulled us together is some time after we met, my family bumped into his family to discover our own fathers are former schoolmates in Busan.
