The human world spills over messily into the old silent forests
The unnatural scattered behind me as I stare, into greens and browns
faint shivers of silver water peek through the green trunks
Three loud steps, i disappear. Three loud steps, and I disappear
from view of that world
The world that moved around me, oblivious to everything I was
I've been replaced by outsiders , and though it hurts, it allows this escape.
I have a secret power, I disappear from the mind as easily as I disappear from view.
Silence surround me, noise let me go.
But I was unprepared,
to disappear
Parts of me still hold on and shiver when the noise actually stops.
The sun and day fades into darkness and I know I can't shrink from the light of this world
Oh how I wish I could drop into this further planet,
Would I get there before I hit water? Would I truly find it
I fear I would not
And it is always a lonely trek back to the world
which did not miss you.
