Chapter 6

I wake up feeling drained and exhausted. The feeling of a hangover is better than this. Although I slept all night due to crying, it felt like my eyes hadn't closed once.

"Layla, time to get up! I let you sleep an extra five minutes, now get your lazy ass up!",Lexi yelled from outside the door.

"I'm not going to school today",I yelled back, covering my head with my pillow.

"Kelly, get up here!",she yelled.

"If you aren't going, we aren't going",Lexi said, plopping herself next to me.

Kelly came in and sat on top of me.

"And you can't object",Kelly added.

"How did you even hear what we were talking about"?,I asked.

"Oh, sweetie, I hear everything",she says,smiling.

"Pftt"-,Alexis laughed out.

"What"?Kelly asks.

"Nothing",Alexis sings out.

"Yeah, it better be 'nothing'",Kelly air quotes.

They walk out of my room and I kick my blankets off. I walk to my bathroom and start my water.

"So, what do you want to do today"?,Kelly asks, stuffing her face with ice cream.

"I don't know. Watch a movie? Eat all day? Shop"?,I listed off options.

"I don't feel like shopping", Alexis said from the couch.

"You don't feel like doing anything, bitch",I laughed out.

"Nope", she popped the 'p'.

"Well, shopping is out",I say.

"Well, we could always-"

The door bell chimes, interrupting me mid sentence.

"I'll get it"!, Alexis shouts, walking to the door.

She walks to the door and opens it.

"Umm, hello, Jackson", she says and I can tell she's confused as to why he's here.

"Hello, Alexis",he replies, chuckling.

"What are you doing here"?

"Tae sent me to invite you girls over",he looked over at Kelly and I.

"Sure, we'll come over",Kelly agrees before I could offer my 'no', even though I was shaking my head vigorously towards her.

"Remind me why I'm here again" I ask.

"Because, you want to be",Kelly said.

"Otherwise, you would have left",Alexis finished.
They both walked into the living room, leaving me alone in the kitchen.

I sigh, and sip my water. That's the best I'm going to drink today. Water.

"Hey, Layla",Tae said, looking at me.

"Hello",I grumbled.

"Why aren't you watching the movie with the others"?

"Why should I"?

"Let me ask a different question. What's the reason of being here, if you aren't going to watch the movie"?,he asked, looking me straight in the eye.

I don't like when people look me in my eye. Its like they're silently  judging me and what I've been through.

"My friends came, isn't that reason enough"?

"No",he retorted.

"Then, what would you like me to say"?

He didn't respond, just looked into the air seeming to not listen.

"You started this conversation, and I'm finishing it if you're not going to talk",I said, frustrated.

"Do you want to talk about last night"?,he asked suddenly.

"Why for? You saw me in a weak state, it won't happen again, or at least it shouldn't",I replied.

"It can happen, if you want it to. You can trust me. Although its hard to hear and not easy to believe, you need to know that",he said.

"I can't just accept your words and open up to you, I just can't. I don't work that way, Taehyung",I shook my head.

"I know you don't, Layla. Believe me",he mumbled the last part.

I lay my arms on the table and put my head on my arms. I felt hands start to massage the back of my neck.

His hands were so smooth, relaxing my muscles. I let out a moan and he suddenly stopped.

"Don't make those sounds",he puts his lips down to my ear. I could feel his breath on my neck. He leaves soft kisses under my ear and trails to the base of my neck. He sucks the soft skin until I'm sure he left a hickey.

"Taehyung",I breath out.

"Yes"?

"I don't think I'll stay away from you".

"Then don't",he says, spinning me to face him.

Here's another chapter, I've been enjoying writing lately, so I'm basically binge writing.

I'll publish two at a time probably. Also, four more days of school left. I'm so excited for break. I don't think I could take anymore days in a row.
