One day there was a beautiful baby girl born, her name was Amanda Wilson. She was born September 22, 1999 her mother and father were so happy to have a daughter as wonderful as her. The day they brought Amanda home she was so peaceful. She never made a screamed, she never cried. Amanda was the most calmest baby ever, she loved to laugh, even if it was just at random things.
1 Years Later
By the time Amanda was one year old she could already walk. She loved walking, it was her favorite thing. The sad thing about Amanda was that she was deaf, except Amanda's parents didn't know it at the time. She wasn't developing as fast as she should of bean, her parents were scared they knew something was wrong but they didn't quite know what it was.
The next day Mr and Ms Wilson had taken Amanda to the doctor the next day, they were expecting to here good news and that there daughter was just a slow learner but they didn't. The doctor had told them that there daughter was deaf. They didn't know how to take the news at first, but them the doctor told them that there was an operation and that if Amanda were to have it she could hear just like everyone else. Mr and Ms. Wilson disused to wait a wile and see if Amanda was capable to learn sign language.
7 Months Later
Amanda was slowly processing and starting to learn sign language at a very little age. At first her parents thought it would be impossible to teach Amanda how to sign but after a wile Amanda caught on very quickly.
5 Months Later
The year is 2001, Amanda is already two years old. She was developing way faster that her family and doctor both though she would. Amanda was only two years old and her doctor said that she was developing as fast as a seconded grader. Her mother and father were especially proud of her because even though Amanda was very young and deaf, her parents loved her as is and would never want to change a thing about her.
November 5, 2001
By November 5, 2001 Amanda had barely taken her first steps, Amanda's mother was the one who was watching her wile her father was in the kitchen cooking. Ms.Wilson had screamed out for Mr. Wilson " SWEETIE SWEETIE, AMANDA JUST TOOK HER FIRST STEPS" Mr. Wilson dropped what he was doing and ran to the next room. Mr. Wilson grabbed his camera and recorded Amanda's first steps, they were so happy that Amanda's first steps were captured on camera.
December 28, 2001
By the time Christmas came around Amanda was already walking perfectly. Amanda was always walking around her house, Amanda's mother had put Amanda in a bouncer so Ms. Wilson could make dinner. Amanda was smart enough to crawl out of her bouncer. It took Amanda just about three minutes to finally get out of the bouncer. When Amanda was out and walking she went to the kitchen and walked up behind her mother without her knowing.
Ms. Wilson was making spaghetti, Ms. Wilson had to dump the water out of the pot so she could finish she had grabbed the pot with the boiling water and the spaghetti by the handles and quickly turned around. The one thing Ms. Wilson didn't know was that Amanda was right behind her. Ms. Wilson got frightened by Amanda, she had screamed and dropped the pot on accident. The water had fallen all over Amanda's right leg, Amanda screamed so loud it was the loudest she had ever screamed before.
When Amanda had screamed her father got scared so he went into the kitchen Ms. Wilson left the pot on the floor, picked up Amanda and taken her to the car. Mr. Wilson had no idea what was going on so he just got into the car with them and Ms. Wilson was explaining when happened in the car. Mr. Wilson was the one driving, he had ran all the red lights, ran through every stop sign, Amanda was in the back seat in her moms arms crying and crying. It took them at least five minutes to get to the hospital because of how fast Mr. Wilson was driving.
By the time they got to the hospital they ran into the emergency room and the doctors had quickly gotten her into the I.C.U. The doctor that had treated Amanda was named Doctor Smith. When Amanda was all done in the I.C.U they had to use lot's of types of medicine. The treatment took at least three hours Mr. and Ms. Wilson were so nervous about how her recovery would me like, and if she'd have a scare on her leg. Wile Amanda was resting Doctor Smith had to get the story about what happened and how it happened. Ms. Wilson was emplaning how Amanda got hurt wile Mr. Wilson was filling out insurance forms for Amanda.
It took a wile for Mr. Wilson to fill out the insurance forms for Amanda. After Ms. Wilson was done explaining the accident to Dr. Smith, a nears came up to Ms. Wilson and told her that Amanda was awake and that only two people at a time can see her. Ms. Wilson said okay and waited for Mr. Wilson to fill out the last insurance form, as Ms. Wilson waited she told Mr. Wilson that she was going to go to the ladies room real quick and for him to wait for her. The thing was Ms Wilson didn't have to use the restroom, she just said that so she could have a moment alone to her self.
As Ms. Wilson was in the rest room she took a minute to think about what just happened, she started to cry and cry and cry. Ms. Wilson was so upset and could not believe that she accidentally burned Amanda and that she could have a that the burn mark could be there for the rest of her life. Ms. Wilson started to hit herself on her head constantly, she started to kick everything in the restroom. It was till the point that she couldn't breath, Mr. Wilson heard all of the kicking and screaming. The door was locked there was no way to get into the restroom so he kicked down the door open, everybody around his got scared.
They didn't know what he was doing. The people around his didn't know what he was doing, they didn't hear Ms. Wilson kicking and screaming. When Mr. Wilson got to Ms. Wilson he noticed that Ms. Wilson was on the floor and unconscious. He called for a doctor two doctors ran to help Ms. Wilson, they picked her up and put her on a gurney. They rushed her to a room and tried to wake her up, the doctor has succeeded at getting Ms. Wilson awake. After they got Mrs. Wilson awake a doctor took her to her own room to rest. The Dr. Smith had told Mr. Wilson that they had to keep Mrs. Wilson over night for observation as well as Amanda.
Mr. Wilson went home that night and all he did was think about Mrs. Wilson and Amanda. The next morning Mr. Wilson had came back to the hospital to pick up Mrs. Wilson and Amanda. First Mr. Wilson went to pick up Amanda from her room, and the doctor had told Mr. Wilson that Amanda had to keep her leg wrapped in gauze for at least a month, and that Mr. Wilson had to switch Amanda's gauze once a week. Mr. Wilson replied and said "okay thanks Dr. Smith. Dr. Smith replied and said "hold on Mr. Wilson theres still one more thing" Mr replied and said "well what else is there Doctor. Dr. Smith replied and said "the hot water that had fell on Amanda could possibly be a scar for life". Mr. Wilson was devastated at first but then Dr. Smith had told Mr. Wilson "there's a procedure that Amanda could have and the scar would be gone in a matter of Two or Three months.
Mr. Wilson was glad to hear that there was something to help Amanda with the pain and suffering from having to have a scar for life all over her leg. Mr. Wilson told Dr. Smith that he'd call him and talk about it some more after him and Ms. Wilson talked it over. After that talk with Dr. Smith, Mr. Wilson kissed Amanda on the cheek and said "hi sweetie, I'm so glad to see you are you feeling any better" Amanda replied and said "yes daddy I'm feeling much better" Mr. Wilson smiles, Amanda says "daddy when can We go home" Mr. Wilson says "wait sweaty before we go home we have to pick up mommy" Amanda replies "NO !! I don't want to see mommy !!!" Amanda was so scared of Ms. Wilson she didn't want her near her. Amanda has no idea what an accident was she thought her mom hurt her on purpose.
After a few seconds Mr. Wilson tried to explain to Amanda what an accident was but she didn't want to hear it. Amanda started bursting out into tears and said "please don't make me have to see mommy, please daddy please I'll do anything". Mr. Wilson felt so sad that he got on his knees and told Amanda if she didn't want to see her mom, she didn't have to. Amanda was so happy that she didn't have to see her mother that she actually forgot about the pain in her leg for a while. Mr. Wilson asked a nurse to watch Amanda for a few minutes for a while so that he could go talk to his wife for a minute or so, the nurse was more happy to watch Amanda for a few minutes for Mr. Wilson. Mr. Wilson when to Mrs. Wilson's room and by the time she got there she was ready to see Amanda and go home except she wasn't expecting more bad news, Mr. Wilson I had just finished telling Mrs. Wilson that him and did not want to see her and she was frightened by her. Mrs. Wilson burst out into tears and she just kept on repeat "it was an accident, I didn't mean to" Mr. Wilson told Mrs. Wilson "I know I know but she thinks that you did it intentionally. Mrs. Wilson asked Mr. Wilson if he could give Amanda a message for her. Mr. Wilson was more than happy to. Mrs. Wilson said to tell Amanda "Amanda, I love you with all of my heart and I would never intentionally hurt you, I wouldn't want to hurt you period. You are my heart, my love, my daughter, and most of all your the one thing in the world that I cherish the most".
Mr. Wilson said "okay I'll make sure to tell Amanda, but that's only if she wants to hear it" Mrs. Wilson replied and said "what do you mean by "if she wants to hear it". Mr. Wilson said "well I just can't tell her what you said before telling her who it's from. First I'm going to ask Amanda to sit, then I'm going to tell her you asked me to give her a message and I'll tell her it's from you and if she wants to hear it. If she says no, then I won't tell her but if she says she does want to hear it then I'll tell her." Mrs. Wilson said "Well why can't you just sit her down and tell her." Mr. Wilson said "Well because I'm not just going to force Amanda to hear something that she doesn't want to hear so I told you what I'm going to do and if you can't accept that then I'm not going to tell Amanda anything for you and that's not bad for me of Amanda, it just bad for you because she could just grow up hating you, so if you want me to tell Amanda what you said it's my way or no way you decide."
Mrs. Wilson stayed quiet for a few seconds but at the same time she was completely shocked that her own husband would do something as rude and selfish as what he just said, Mrs. Wilson said in a sad and shocking manner "Fine then tell Amanda your way but ware will I stay for the meanwhile ?" Mr. Wilson said "Give me a second so I can ask my parents if you can stay with them for a few days." Mrs. Wilson said "what! A few days how long do I have to stay with them?" Mr. Wilson just thought to himself for a few seconds. Mr. Wilson said to his wife "I don't know, for as long as it takes for Amanda to not be afraid of you". Mr. Wilson turned slightly and called his mother and father as Mrs. Wilson so quietly waited.
As Mrs. Wilson waited Mr. Wilson on the other hand was calling his mother when she picked up he explained to her what had happened. Mr. Wilson explain to his mother how Amanda was afraid to see her mother because she thought her mother intentionally tried to hurt her. After hearing what happened between Amanda and her mother Mr. Wilson's mother Margaret Wilson and her husband William Wilson where more than happy to let Mrs. Wilson stay with them for the time being. You could see that Mrs. Wilson was not happy to have to stay with Mr. Wilson's parents because her own daughter was afraid of her, but she excepted it and said alright. Mrs. Wilson waited in the waiting room for them to come. At the time Margaret and William were at home when they got the call from Mr. Wilson, when they had gotten off the phone Margaret and William got into there car to go pick up Mrs. Wilson for the hospital because she had no way of getting to their house. It took about 45 minutes for them to get to the hospital in that time Mrs. Wilson was sitting and waiting in the waiting room for them to get there.
After about forty five minutes had passed Margaret and William had arrived at the hospital. They walked into the hospital and the first person they see is Mrs. Wilson sitting on a chair with a bag filled with her clothes.
