The begining

I can vividly remember when we met, first day of school, literally, I had just turned 5 a week before and today was that day when every mother wells up and crys, but I guess I didn't really feel like delaying my valuable learning time, as soon as we got to the door, without turning a head, I ran in, this is where I met her and him.

"Are we there yet?"

"No lola"

"Now? Muuum are we lost?"

"No Lola! Will you stop wriggling darling"

The car pulled up to a halt outside a huge red school , I jumped off my booster seat and wriggled the car door handle, I skidded out and ran to mum

"Are you excited?"

"No"

"Why?"

"My teacher looks like a witch mum!"

"Shhh Lola" she struggled to keep a straight face when she saw my teacher and laughed while whispering in my ear "make sure she doesn't trap you in her cauldron" we both giggled and she looked me in eye "good bye Lola, be good, and remb-"

I cut her off and ran into the class looking at my new students, this is the time in my life when I met Yasmin, my best friend

"Hi!" I ran up to her and tapped her on the back

"Hello!" She smiled at me with a gapped tooth look

"Woah! Did you loose your teeth!"

"Yea! We'll your pretty.. Wanna be friends?"

"Yea!"

And that is literally how we became friends, I guess it's a lot easier when your 5, you can say what you feel and no one would flinch,

*half way through year*

"Good morning class"

"Good morning mrs. B"

"So, as I told you on Friday we have a new student joining us, please welcome Kavahn!"

The whole class literally screamed hello except me, I guess you could say I was... Enchanted a little. I had never experienced a crush before and I thought he put a spell on me, I couldn't take my eyes off him

"Lola, your going all red and gawpy looking!" Yasmin elbowed me while whispering in my ear,

I whispered to Yasmin, "Yasmin I think he's a wizard! He made me feel all funny when I looked at him! What if he's a bad wizard!?!?"

Yasmin looked at me confused and just continued looking at the teacher and listening to Kavahn,

**bell rings**

"Class dismissed! Remember to wait for your parents to pick you u and don't wonder off!"

"Yes mrs, B"

I ran as fast as I could out of that class and straight to my mums car,

"Mum! There's a wizard in my class!"

"Don't be silly Lola, what do you mean?"

"There's this new boy in my class and he made me feel all funny, and made me go all red mum!"

Mum just smiled and drove the car home, as we pulled up in the drive way she whispered

"Don't worry Lola, he's not a wizard, and that wasn't a spell"

I guess she was right, cause it's been 8 years and I still feel the same.
