Prologue: Storm at sea
The waves ploughed me through their salty water. It was cold, freezing. I was fighting for my life and my sight was blurred. The sky above was grey and thunderous, lightening flashed here and there. No land could be seen and behind me I could hear someone calling out to me, a warning. I lurched round to be confronted by a black fox with a red mane, the Pokemon was called Zoroark. "Dragoelx!" He called, Dragoelx must've been my name, "you need to hang on!" To what? I wanted to say but when I opened my mouth water was pushed in.
"Look out!" The Zoroark shouted as I twisted round to see a purple glow appear below. Suddenly sharp claws grabbed my feet and tried to drag me down but Zoroark came to my aid, we frantically flailed hoping that we'd be able to survive but I felt my body plunge down, seconds later so did Zoroark's. I held my breath and turned round to attack my attacker, it's grip weakened but was still firm. A ball of multicoloured flames appeared in both of my hands and I launched them at Zoroarks opponent, it let go and Zoroark escaped. My lungs couldn't hold out any more and the last thing I saw before I sank down was a strange figure in the sky.
