[A young lady with brown hair is seen sitting near a college building. She is staring at the sky]
Young Lady: It's a beautiful day, I should draw something.
[The young lady starts drawing something and another almost identical young lady gets near her]
???: Lanys, what are you doing, sis?
[Lanys looks at her with a faint smile]
Lanys: Just drawing, waiting for my next class, Lexa.
Lexa: Alone again? You need to find friends, sis. I don't like you to be alone.
Lanys: (softly) yeah, I know.
Lexa: Well, got to run. My friends are waiting for me in the cafeteria. You okay out here?
Lanys: I'm okay. I'll see you later.
[Lexa leaves and Lanys goes back to drawing. A well-dressed man with a brown briefcase stands near Lanys and he sees her drawing]
???: Nice drawing, I see you took my advice and kept practicing.
[Lanys looks up and sees the man and she smiles]
Lanys: Professor.
Professor: Yeah, it's me. What are you doing alone out here?
Lanys: Well, I'm waiting for my next class and just wanted to draw.
[The Professor looks sternly at Lanys]
Professor: What about your friends?
[Lanys stays quiet and continues to draw]
Professor: Are you ignoring me?
[Lanys continues to stay quiet]
Professor: Lanys...I know you can hear me, why are you ignoring me?
[Lanys stops drawing and looks at the professor]
Lanys: You know I don't have friends.
Professor: Yeah, you don't trust people.
Lanys: It's not that.
Professor: No, then what is it?
Lanys: It's just hard. I've tried, but I think a part of me, just doesn't want to get hurt or betrayed.
Professor: I understand, but in this lonely world we live in, we always need someone to depend on. Understand?
Lanys: I do understand. I do have people I depend on.
Professor: Really, who?
Lanys: My parents.
