"Giselle!" My mother calls for the tenth time

"Im coming just a sec" i yell down the stairs

I take a quick look in the mirror and make sure i look perfect.

"Giselle we need to go now" my mother calls for the last time

"Took you long enough" my twin brother Nathan says as i race down the stairs

When we arrive i stand in awe at this experience while Nathan walk off. Finally i move into line with all the other 16 year olds.

When i get to the front of the line a lady calls for the next person. Me.

I walk nervously down the halls of the building to room A.

Waiting inside is a middle aged lady with dark brown hair, tanned skin and bright green eyes.

"My name is Shelda i will be testing you today if you could please be seated in the chair, stay calm and i will be right with you"

I sit in the white leather chair that is slightly leaned back like a dentist chair.

Shelda walks into a room labelled room B and comes back 30 seconds later with the biggest sharpest needle i have ever seen.

"This will only take a few seconds you will feel a slight pinch but it shouldn't hurt to much" Shelda says in the calmest voice possible.

Shelda slowly draws my dark red blood from a blue vein that is almost hidden by my crystal white skin.

She produces a slim but rough piece of paper from a box next to the chair that has 3 black circles on it. She puts 3 drops onto each circle. I watch in amazement at my blood changing colour on the paper. All the black circles turn pink.

"I will be right just please wait here" Shelda says with a worried look on her face.

After she leaves the room i sit thinking about why she looked so worried and why she had to leave.
