I wake up to my alarm blaring in my ears, it is time for school. I don't know if I can do this today. I don't think I'll be able to see Reece's face without bursting into tears right then and there.

I get up and put on a pair of high waisted black jeans with a white crop top that says Nike. Then I throw on a pair of running shoes.

"Syana, are you ready for school?" Jai says, knocking on my door.

"Yeah, but I'll drive myself now." I say, while opening my door.

"Really?" He sounds surprised. I nod my head then he nods his. "Alright, be careful."

Jai and I walk to our cars then we get in and pull out. On the way to school I can't help but think about Reece. Why is he acting like this so suddenly?

I pull into the parking lot at school and when I step out of my car, everyone's head turns to me. I see some are whispering and some are laughing. Did the news already get out that fast?

I start walking to the school doors but a girl stops me in my tracks by getting in front of me.

"Look, it's the whore." She says, she laughs then struts away from me. What? What was that about?

I keep walking into the school and walk to my locker but it is like everyone is still watching me. I turn around after getting my books out of my locker then I see Maddison and her minions start walking up.

I turn the opposite way and start walking but Maddison catches my arm and pulls me back. "Where do you think you are going?" She says.

"To class." I answer.

"I don't think so." She says. She then knocks my books out of my arms making them sprawl out onto the ground.

"Hey!" I say.

"Aw, upset?" She laughs. "You should be on the ground with them." She then pushes me, causing me to fall onto the ground.

"I can't believe you really thought Reece wanted you. You are so naive. I mean, look at you, who would want to be with you?" She sneers.

She walks away with her minions, all of them laughing. I begin to pick up my books then I stand up. I look around and everyone is laughing. By now, tears are streaming down my face.

I start running and don't stop until I get to where I want to be. The bathroom. I run in, making the door slam into the wall. But there are people in here. They all turn their heads then start laughing.

I run into one of the stalls and lock the door. "She is crying! That's hilarious!" One girl says. "It is! We have to tell Maddi." Another girl says. Maddi, as in Maddison? I hear the door to the bathroom close.

After awhile of sitting there crying, I get up and open the door. I catch a glance of myself in the mirror. I look a mess. I look at my wrist and I have a hair tie so I pull all of my hair back and throw it up, then I scrummage through my bag and find my hoodie.

I throw it on then I throw water on my face trying to get rid of the knowledge I was crying. I then throw my hood on my head and walk out. It's already in the middle of third block. Nobody is in the hallway, that's a good thing.

I get in front of the class room door. Reece is in this class. I breathe in a long breath then I let it out and open the door and start walking to my desk until the teacher calls me.

"You are late." She says.

"Sorry." I say then walk to my desk. The only desk is right beside Reece. Just great.

I start to sit down but about the time I sit, the chair is pulled out. I look around and see that a girl I haven't yet talked to pulled it out. She hurries and sits in her chair before the teacher can see her.

"Syana! You have already disrupted my class by coming in late and now making your chair fall just to get attention on you, if you do one more thing to disrupt my class then you will leave!" I nod my head then everyone bursts out laughing. The laughter dies down then she gets back to teaching. Today we are talking about the book we read last week.

We read a book called odyssey. It's actually a Greek epic poem about a guy that is trying to get home after a war and it takes him ten years. It tells how the guy faces misfortune on his journey to attempt to go home.

Half way into the lesson something hits me on the head. I turn and look and there is a book on the floor. Someone threw a book at me!

"Syana! Get out!" The teacher says. I get up and walk out. There is not even any point in trying to defend myself.

Why is this happening to me? What have I done? Is everyone acting like this because Reece and I broke up? Because everyone new he and I didn't belong together? That he was just using me?

Where do I go for now? I could drive to the park until it's time for my next class. I start walking out the doors then I get in my car. I hope when I come back the rest of my day will get better. I don't understand why yesterday and today is being like this.

I drive to the park then sit down on the bench. A car pulls up and three kids get out and run to the park.

"I'm gonna get there before you!" One screams.

"No you won't!" Another screams. They make it to the park at the same time but they both think that the other lost.

"I got here first!"

"No, I got here first!"

"Boys, stop arguing and go play!" The mom, well, I believe she is the mom, says. The boys look at each other then start chasing each other.

I wish my life could still be so bright. Now it is just dull. One thing after another. Why does everything have to happen to me?

Why does everything have to happen to me?
