✏Amy's POV✏
Have you ever wondered what it's like to be ignored? Well everyone's been through that.
I've always wondered what it's like to be acknowledged or appreciated. Turns out I've never experienced that. And I never will.
I'm Amy Hill- a book loving, wannabe author and a totally shy geek. I only have two friends. They're the only ones who actually stay by my side and give me encouragement.
I manage to get my teachers' and principal's recognition with my grades. Unfortunately, that makes my other classmates envious, thus hating me for being a "teacher's pet". They make fun of my geekiness too. The only time those so called classmates are nice to me is when they need something, like homework and educational help. Other than that, poof. I'm forgotten. They don't bother to credit, acknowledge or even thank me.
Though what hurts most is my family. My mother is a stylist. My father is the CEO of a recording company. They're very busy people and don't have the time for me. I do my best to please them, but they never pay attention or acknowledge me. Then there's my younger sister Hazel. She's pretty and talented- she can sing and act in a way. She's the one my parents look at.
Hello. Are you forgetting? There's another daughter here.
