As soon as the lady on the phone told me 7:30 I set my alarm clock to 6:00 sharp.

I got up and saw that my husband was still fast asleep in our bed. I'll cook us some food before I leave for work and tell him about the job. I thought.

I put on comfortable work clothes and made my way downstairs. I walked into the kitchen and pulled out all of the items I needed to cook and the utensils I needed to cook them.

Minutes later while I'm just about done, I see my husband enter the kitchen fully clothe for his work.

"What's up with the work clothes? Job interview?" He asked me with a sly grin.

"Wellllll...." I teased a bit bring the food to the table. "I already have the job." He looks at me with shock. A good type of shock.

"W-well What job is it?"

"It's at the power plant division at the Protective Humane Society."

He seemed to choke on his juice a bit. I gave him a worried look.

"The Protective Humane Society?" He asked amazed.

"Yeeeeessss!" I told him I a sing song voice.

"Not only is that one of the best paying jobs for us scientists but Imogen Co. is also partnering with them so THEREFORE I will get to see THE most beautiful being on this horrid planet all the time!"

I smiled at his response.

"I love you. You know that? Is what automatically came out of my mouth.

He stood up for his mostly done plate and came and gave me a kiss. I lovingly returned the love back.

I checked the time.
6:40 A.M

"Oh babe, it's time for me to leave. I have to be at work at 7:30." I gave him another quick peck on his cheek and made my way towards the door.

"Love yooouuu!" I heard him shout as I left out of the door.

I drove towards the outskirts of town and through the somewhat unknown roads. Well always the we're unknown to me.

"When the hell did these roads get here?" I asked myself aloud as I looked at the GPS time from time, following the twists and turns towards the big hidden facility ahead.

I pulled into the drive way and saw the other cars there. Mostly fancy, some like mine; nice but not fancy and one single car that was a little run downed.

First you couldn't see the armed men through the shiny glass doors however once you were behind the two way glass door you saw them. And for a person, a pregnant person already on high alert. The men sure did intimidate you.

Once I passed the men I saw the busy people walking around wearing lab coats and some with glasses and some with gloves. And in the center was the symbol of the company which was the diamond shape and then other multiple diamond shapes slightly turning right. The original diamond shape color was red and then the second blue and third yellow. Once the overlapped each other they made the other colors known to man.
