Meet Me In South Korea || Extended One Shot

Crap. What am I gonna do? My chest is pounding fast. What's that in the rooftop? Is it a ghost or what? Tatayo na sana ako kaso may nakita akong dalawang paa sa harap ko.

"Are you okay?" I saw a hand in front of me. It was Navy, for sure. I heard his voice and i'm sure that it was him. Nanlaki ang mga mata ko pero hindi ko pa siya tinitingala. I shivered.

I quickly grabbed his hand and stood up. This is so awkward.

"Paano ka nahulog? Bakit gising ka pa?" I looked at him. I don't know what should I say.

"Ah, k-kasi kumuha ako ng tubig. May narinig akong ingay kaya..." My breathing is heavy while talking. Hindi ko rin naman kasi alam na sa rooftop pala nanggagaling ang ingay.

"Ah--- I should get going." I ran quickly as fast as I could.

"Wait!" I stopped as he yelled. I turned back and look at him directly. "Are there any bruises?"

I shook my head as my answer. He nodded pero mukhang nagtatakha pa din. I ran again towards my room. To tell the truth, I got a bruise on my right palm. It's not that big but the bleeding is heavy. I quickly grabbed my medical kit. Kundi ba naman kasisa sariling katangahan.

"Aw.." I groaned in pain as I put the peroxide.

"You're so stupid, Eunicka Lean Drillones.. Stupid!" I whisper-shouted to myself.

Morning came and I decided to walk my dog at the central park. It's early in the morning and my homies are now eating. I went on the dining table and ate some bacon, egg and corned beef. All of us were silently eating.

"Eunice, anong nangyari sa kamay mo?" Mom asked. I looked at her.

"Wala to my.." She's still worrying, based on her face. She knows that i'm now big so there's nothing to worry about. Hindi naman na ako baby para alagaan at i-pamper pa.

"You said that there was no any bruises?" My eyes widened when Navy asked. I didn't look at him straight cuz' I know i'll stutter again. Shit! Ba't ang lakas ng pagkasabi niya?

My two brothers looked confused. "Huh?" Kuya Eugene asked.

"Ah, wala." Navy just continued eating. That was close. What if Eugene and Euran knew that me and their friend Navy had an awkward conversation last late night? That's not a big deal though but it's still an awkward embarrassment for me. 

At dahil sa tinatong yon ni Navy, hindi na ako makakain ng maayos.

I finished my food and I got ready for a walk with Lash, my dog. It's a cross-breed, beagle and husky. It's nearly nine am in the morning, I went out on the house with Lash and walk through this big subdivision until I got to the Central Park.

I sat on the bench and Lash was playing ball infront of me while I'm looking at the kids play, couples date, and loners being alone. Glad that I have Lash with me. 

"Lash, do you want a girlfriend?" Tanong ko sa aso ko, well, as if naman maiintindihan niya. 

Lash stopped and stood up looking at me with excitement in it's eyes. Ilang beses na siyang sinubukang ibinreed sa ibang aso kaso ayaw ko at lagi kong pinipigilan sila kuya Eugene. Lash is too precious to have a mate.

I thought popped into my mind. I can't imagine myself having a boyfriend. I think it is just a waste of time. A boy bestfriend is better actually. Kaso sa mga panahon ngayon pag may kaibigan kang lalaki, matic na malandi ka na. Agree din naman ako don, yung iba kasi kunwari gusto ng boy bestfriend pero ang totoo, gusto lang ng kalandian na walang commitment.
