The Movies (Yume x Subaru)

Yume POV

Today I had nothing to do. Originally the girls and I were going to go shopping and hang out, but something came up for every single one of them. So I decided to go to the movies to see Ako's new movie, the Idol Mermaid one. I acted in one of the scenes, but that was just like a flashback. I wasn't allowed to look at the script, and Ako didn't spoil any of it. Who knew that when I went there I would see Subaru.

"Yo Boiled Octopus." Someone said behind me. I obviously knew who it was, because who else calls me that.

"Hi, Subaru." I said turning around to face him, "My name is Yume! Don't you know that! Why are you even here?"

"I wanted to see my new movie. Well, it's Ako, but I'm also one of the main actors so." 

"Really! That's great, I was gonna watch that too. Let's watch it together!" I said pulling him to the ticket booth. Subaru blushed on shook his head. 

"We would like 2 tickets for the Mermaid Idol movie please!" I said while taking my money out.

"Thank you! I hope you guys enjoy the movie!" The lady said. I looked up, did Subaru just pay my ticket?

"Boiled Octopus, let's go." He said waving the tickets at me.

"Why did you pay for my ticket!" I looked at him.

"Why not? What kind of gentleman would I be if you paid for everything."

"Baka, you're gonna let me pay for the snacks them."

"Mhm, whatever you say."

I had my money ready when we went to the snack bar.

"I would like a large popcorn to share and some M&M's." I said getting ready to put the money down on the table after Subaru answered.

"Can I have a sprite and some Skittles." He said, then immediately put down the money. Arggggg he beat me!

"Sure, it'll be up right away." The worker took Subaru's money and gave him the change.

"Baka! I told you I would pay!" I said.

"Say whatever you want boiled octopus, but if I'm here, I'm gonna pay for everything." He looked at me then smirked.

"Baka, Baka, Baka! Remind me to never do anything with you."

"Naaaa, you'll want to do everything with me."

"W-what?!?" I said, suddenly I felt my face heat up. What is this feeling?

"Ahaha, boiled octopus. Here's the food. Let's get going."

Then we walked to where we were gonna watch the movie. We sat down in our seats, right when the lights dimmed. I wonder what the ending will be? I read some reviews saying that there was gonna be a twist at the end. 

During the movie, Subaru and I bumped shoulders. Suddenly I got the longing for his touch. You know like holding hands, or our shoulders touching for a longer period of time. Seriously, what is this feeling? 

By the end of the movie, I was crying. It was just so good? Like how can you not cry?"

"Why are you crying?" Subaru whispered to me since the lights were still out.

"The ending is just so good! I loved it!" I said still crying.

"Wow, boiled octopus. You sure are emotional."

"No, I'm not. And my name is Yume!"

You can totally tell how Ako poured her heart and soul into being the mermaid idol, Marissa. Kanata was also really good. His cool personality really matched being the agency's president. On the other hand, Subaru was amazing! He did so well and looked so cool in the costumes. Wait what! What's going on? 

"So, you seemed to enjoy the movie." Subaru said as we walked out.

"It was amazing. The three of you did really well!" I smiled.

"Thank you. I think you would be surprised if I told you that half of the plot was written by Ako."

"What? Really?"

"Ya. The twisted ending was by her too."

"Oh! I loved the ending. How Marissa ended up with the President instead of the Super Idol."

"Yup! Along the road, Marissa realized her true feelings."

"Ahhh! That's so sweet! Ako did a great job!"

"Yup. She spent nights staying up to write the script."

"Oh! Was that why she was always tired for the last couple of months?"

"Yup."

"She said it was because she was having some sleeping problems."

"Nope! It was because she was working really hard to late at night."

"Ako-chann."

"Where are you headed next?"

"I was just gonna go back to school. You?"

"I have a photo shoot with the rest of the M4 members. So I'll be going back to the academy to meet them."

"Cool! We can walk back together!"

"Ya."

"Oh ya, I want to say thank you before I forgot! Thank you for paying for everything. Expect me to pay you back next time, or maybe I just won't hang out with you."

"That's so rude!"

"You were the one being rude before! Not letting me pay!"

"You should be happy that I was paying for you."

"Hmph. Whatever, let's head back."

"Ok."

Yay! Another chapter! I have another idea for a Kanako chapter, but I feel like I focus on them too much, and that I should do some other ships. Anyways, leave a comment! Those always makes my day. Have any suggestions? My message box is always open! Thank you all!
