Chapter Twenty-Six

To Live,To Breath

"You're tougher than i thought. I'll make sure to not underestimate you again Melody" she looked at him "see that you don't because i intend to win your game" they both laughed Peter then took her back to her tree but before they reached it she took his pixie dust and yelled "THINK LOVELY THOUGHTS" she remembered all the good times and happy days and off she flew into the sky looking down on Pan he signaled for the lost boys to come and they did Felix looked up into the sky "is that Melody?" then looked at Pan "sneaky girl come on let's go get her" they went to the pixie dust trees to get it and went on after her because s everyone knows no one leaves Neverland without Pan's permission not even a spirit body.

Peter started to think what was Melody thinking risking this much because escaping him was worse than staying but as soon as Peter checked his right pocket he noticed that something dear to him was gone "MOVE EVERYONE AND NO ONE RESTS UNTIL MELODY IS FOUND" it was a straw doll she took with her it had a dark blue jacket on it, it was a treasure and a burden because it belonged to his son and it was his biggest secret "Rumple.." Peter whispered his son's name the son he abandoned for youth and in so doing caused a chain of event's which was now unfolding as his son is the dark one and his grandson is where Rumple once was.

Peter also just clued into her plan she was going to find out all his secret's once she enters Memory Lane with the straw doll it will show her everything about him leading up to the now and that was a monumental risk so being who he was he flew off into the night to head her off praying he is not too late "here i am" Melody spoke to herself she was now at Memory Lane but turned to realize just out of her peripheral vision that Peter Pan was racing to stop her "you won't win" she whispered to him then ran inside memory lane while inside the darkness she just had to think this was a place only for thinking "show me Peter Pan's locked away memories" all of a sudden while holding onto his doll she was taken to a town where an older looking man was scamming people for booze money "follow the lady" he said while another man tried to keep up with his hands but lost then things took a turn for the worst for the scammer when his customer realized he was being had. "Please don't hurt him, he's my father" a little brown haired boy pleaded but to deaf ears as his father still got punched. Was Peter Pan left by his dad is that why he's so protective of this little doll because his leech of a father gave it to him.
