Chapter Twenty-Eight

Run RUN run

"Who?"Peter was playing dumb but Melody knew everything all the dirty laundry was out now. "Rumple your little boy the one you abandoned just like you were by your father, this was his doll right?" the confident smirk disappeared from Peters face almost as fast as it appeared "you have NO idea what you are talking about" Melody hated it all how he repeated his fathers mistake and how she felt Rumple's pain even though she never knew him or met him "give me back the doll Melody" she held the doll tighter as if she were holding Rumple and his feelings "you don't deserve to have it..you forgot about him!how could you, how can you live with yourself" Peter was more angry then ever before "i think of Rumple every day that is why i'm called Peter Pan and i gave him up to live with myself because in truth i was never meant to be a father" Melody was hearing what he had to say but didn't want to comprehend because it seemed ridiculous that he would repeat his parent's mistakes.

"you afraid you'll make the same mistake aren't you?" Peter implied this with a mocking tone "no..i just know how Rumple feels...being given away or rather torn away because you're unwanted is never a good feeling" Peter soothed his expression "you can die and never have to feel anything again" he looked serious but to her death was no longer the answer it should never have been "you want me dead to protect yourself" Peter did nod to that as he knew that was his intention after all a child whose lost can't find love it was another rule of Neverland which was loneliness however if Melody made him fall and get his heart to skip a beat Neverland will be gone forever.

"Let's go back home" he said then scooped her up "let me down" but the words fell on deaf ears as he flew up and went to the tree up the steps and put up the barrier outside "i just want freedom" she exclaimed not caring anymore if he replied "free yourself" Peter replied then left but yet again it was another cryptic message with no real explanation honestly who in the world likes games like this on end it seems like torture but Melody was tired for a ghost and slept. Peter said he coded the pillows and some of the tree in dreamshade but a weakened version which only makes you sleep or tired as soon as you step in what a terrible murderous plant they have on Neverland he said that the real dreamshade kills immediately once touched.
