Chapter Thirty-Eight

Save Him

Rapunzel cried and shook Peter hoping for a miracle "PETER...PETER....NOOOOOOOOOOOOO" Rapunzel tried to get up but her legs failed her so she tried to move with her arms then she sees a pair of sneakers in front of her "save him" Rapunzel looked up at Jason "SAVE HIM" then went off into unconsciousness, what felt like only hours Rapunzel awoke in a room she ran to a mirror to look at the damage done but nothing to her surprise except her hair was now brown she still had her natural eye color which was blue but what happened to her hair. Then it occurred to her that none of that mattered Peter was dead but maybe Jason saved him this was the hope of someone desperate beyond a doubt.

Rapunzel was in the same white room with no windows or doors just a room she was in a t-shirt and jeans someone had bandaged her up she looked completely alright a ping of pain resigned in her then Peter ran through her brain so she started screaming "where is PETER TAKE ME TO HIM" she yelled to the point that her voice became scratchy then finally her emptiness her emotionless her feelings all flooded she didn't know which to feel first so tears came fourth and more screams "PLEASE LET ME SEE PETER....I'LL DO WHATEVER YOU WANT...please" what was she doing making a fool of herself no one was listening or if they were they probably were laughing.

'I am not a princess, I am not Melody, I am Rapunzel' she chanted to herself as she was now nothing had been determined whether this is real or some crazy dream but that was a hope an impossibility, suddenly she hears someone coming she gets up then wipes her tears and tries to bear what might be coming for her knowing full well it was nothing good. Jason came in she lunged at him intently but he moved again so she ended up looking humiliated again and replayed the same scene from earlier "is Peter okay?" she asked in desperation "he is" Jason answered the man in a white coat looked like a doctor or a scientist of sorts. "You planning on re-wiring me again?" she scoffed at him "yes until we get it right" Rapunzel cringed at his sickening honesty "why have you done all this I still can't comprehend it all!?" Jason smiled at the doctor and the white coated man took a seat "it's simple i was a delusional boy with a hunch but when i got lucky and found your world i first wanted to live in it but realized that it's dangerous your magic is our science except yours is better which makes you all dangerous and something that needs to be disposed of or used for our peoples betterment" "that simple huh? we scare you do we!" Jason came closer to her she moved back until she was in a corner of the room "i won't be anymore after we take care of you all,maybe you can make contributions to our world and if not we'll just get rid of you freaks".

Rapunzel did not flinch she realized that blinking or flinching to a monster in mans clothing would mean defeat so she mustered her strength "take me to him,NOW" this request only made Jason laugh a snort of twist chuckle heat came to her cheeks so she punched him in the face then saw him turn on her he tried to slap her but she ducked and punched him in the gut then made a run for the open door. "Stop her" the man in white tried to hold her down and got out his syringe but Rapunzel used her back legs and kicked him in the scrotum and took off running and saw the people from before the enchanted kingdom residents they were being programmed no one cared to look at the window they were all hard at work with looks of fascination on there faces these nameless people were some kind of special twisted thought Rapunzel then at the end of he hall she save a name "Peter Panson" she laughed at how stupid that resigned name was.

She burst the door open she saw the guards coming for her and there inside the room was Peter sleeping looking carefree he looked at bad as she felt. As soon as she got close she kissed him awake "Peter we have to go" he looked at her "Rapunzel, what happened?" she hugged him she expected them to kill him or erase his memory's but it appears there wounds were to sever so they of course had to be treated the guards were coming faster and gaining speed. They looked for an escape route and saw an air duck "we go up" and both using his bed as a trampoline they propelled each other into the open duck and went in, "let's go" the space was enclosed and small so they were so close and couldn't help kissing one another a longing both thought would never be filled again by the other as both thought the other was dead "we got to get out of here, then we can continue where we left off" Rapunzel blushes at Peters statement but kisses him "you'll have to re-teach me then" he kisses her harder "no problem".

They made it to a parking garage and high jacked a car and burst out of the scene and past the town line and were free for the time being and made it to Chicago and when they got there they met up with John and Michael also a young girl named Wendy "we're only doing this because we want to go home, okay Pan" Micheal a man with glasses and brown hair and his brother John had blond hair and blue eyes did not even look at Peter while as Wendy only had a look of contempt towards Peter I figured he had enemies for what he did to be with me again this was my fault.
