Chapter 14

*future Lydia's pov*
Logan started to groan like he was in pain and then his claws came out and I looked at Charles

"Oh god no" Charles said snd I looked at him. No, Logan couldn't die. It's Logan and he shouted in pain and then began to make sounds like he was drowning and I put my head in my hands. Oh god what is going to happen

*past Lydia's pov*
I just saw Logan been pushed out of the stadium and I nearly shouted to him and a vine rose up

"You know what to do" I whispered and it nodded lightly and disappeared into the ground, going to find Logan and to save him from whatever was happening to him and I smiled but then focused my attention back again on Erik and the situation and then the safe room burst out onto the field. Tommy came by my side and held my hand, the opening of the safe room was ripped open and their guns were aimed at them by Erik and then he turned around the cameras so they faced him

"You built these weapons to destroy us, why? Because you are afraid of our gifts, because we are different. Humanity has always feared that if which is different, well I'm here to tell you. To tell the world, you're right to fear us. We are the future. We are the ones who inhabit this earth and anyone who stands in our way, will suffer the same fate of those men that you see before you. Today was meant to be a display of your power, instead I give you a glimpse of the devastation my face can unleash upon yours. Let this be a warning to the world, to my mutant brothers and sisters out there. I say this, no more hiding, no more suffering. You have livid in the shadows of shame and fear for too long, come out. Join me and fight together in a brotherhood of our kind, a new tomorrow that starts today" Erik said while I looked at him in disbelief and he did have a little bit of a point but it doesn't mean we need to act on it also

*future Lydia's pov*
I felt myself gasp loudly as I felt myself being sucked into a vision and I saw the sentinels kill tommy and Amelia. They both holding each other while they got stabbed by the sentinels and all I heard was

"Mom, dad we love you" they both whispered and then they both fell to the ground dead. Both of them had their eyes closed snd I was sucked back into the moment I was in and I looked at Charles and Charles looked at Erik, not noticing what had happened but Bobby did and looked at me

"Lydia?" He questioned and both Charles and Erik looked at me while I sunk down to the floor, sobbing my heart out and I looked at Charles

"They're gone" I whispered and Charles looked broken and I just sobbed into my hands and Erik limped over to me while wincing and sat by me and held me as I sobbed into his shoulder

"All those years fighting each other Charles, I'd have those precious years back" Erik said and they both held out their hand to each other and the other one held it and I looked at them and heard fire melting down the door and Bobby stood up and walked to the entrance and I looked at Charles and he nodded and I got up and walked over also to Bobby

"Hey you can do this by yourself Bobby" I said and he nodded and we stood ready at the door , Bobby turning into full ice while vines appeared out the floor and I pointed towards the door and they gave an extra few layers for the sentinels to get through and Bobby added to it also

*past Lydia's pov*

I stood down from where I was and looked at Erik and walked down to me and tommy was by my side

"Erik" I called out softly and he looked at me and president Nixon also walked forward as well and I looked at him weird and I knew it was raven straight away as I could see the real president Nixon still sat down but the men still tried to fuss over raven

"I said stand down" raven shouted in Nixon's voice and I smiled at her and she smiled at me

"You're not doing this to me" Erik said while he looked at me and then at tommy
