everyone deserves to have their happy ending right? ❝hey renjun,❞ i called for him after he stepped foot outside of the kitchen. he raised a brow at me and i smiled as i patted the space beside me. ❝come here.❞

he just nodded and sat on the couch beside me. i stared out of the window for some good seconds before facing him. ❝you know how jeno and jaemin's love for you is unconditional right?❞

again, he just nodded and faced the window.

i forced out a small smile as i grabbed hold of his hands. ❝renjun i... i know i'll sound crazy when i tell you this but... believe me when i say you three are destined to be together.❞

i looked at him and saw him quirked his brows, slowly facing me. he sighed deeply and removed his hands from my hold. ❝okay...? just go straight to your point donghyuck.❞

❝wait, are you telling me you're... you're breaking up with me and get together with those jerks?❞ his voice cracked and he quickly held my hands tightly. his eyes pleading.

❝well... remember how i told you about my 'dream' when i was in a coma?❞ i started and he just nodded, tightening his hold on my hands. ❝i just told you about my love story with mark but i never told you about my friends there. renjun, you were one of them. and of course, jeno and jaemin.❞ i chuckled a little after remembering some things about the three of them.

❝you three were together. you got married and had kids. in fact, they were triplets. two boys and one girl.❞

❝i know this will be hard to believe but i think that wasn't just any dream renjun. it felt so real, i felt pain and i can remember everything that i'm sure was wasn't shown in that dream so there's no way that's just a dream.❞ i said as i slowly removed my hands from his grip and stood up.

❝welp, you should get ready.❞ i said as i pulled him up and dragged him to our room. ❝get dressed, you're going on a date.❞

❝a date?❞ he tilted his head while going to his closet to pick some clothes.

❝yeah, i set up a date for you with jeno and jaemin.❞ i answered and sat down on our bed as i watched him change. i pouted after seeing that he just went with a simple look.

i then stood up and went to him, pushing him aside as i searched for some sexy but at the same time, cute clothes. ❝did you know that your fashion style sucks?❞ i said.

he then scoffs and pushed me away from his closet. ❝oh i'm sorry my dear ex-boyfriend who just set me up with those two jerks who just raped me on a date. i'll try to find some more fashionable clothes. so now if you'll excuse me, please get out of the room.❞ he said, empathizing the word ex-boyfriend through his gritted teeth while pushing me out of our room.

once i was completely out of the room, he shut the door loudly and locked it. ❝being cupid is so much fun than i ever had imagined.❞ i smiled to myself while looking at the mirror beside our room's door and then went to the living room.

❝daddy! you should time travel!❞ donghyun shouted as he gave the diary back to his daddy who was sitting on the couch while watching some basketball match on the large flat screen tv.

mark sighed and paused the video that was playing and faced his son. ❝how many times do i need to tell you guys that daddy don't want to time travel? we'll find another way to go to papa, hm?❞ he said as he ruffled donghyun's hair and went back to watching the match.

donghyun let out a loud huffed and ran upstairs to his room. ❝donghyunnie just want papa and daddy to be together again. they've been away for so many years.❞ the baby mumbled as he climbed on his bed and hid under his blankets.

donghyun's room door then burst opened and yijun came in while shouting, ❝donghyunnie get up!❞ as he pulled the blankets to reveal his pouting brother.

❝i found a spell book.❞ the older said as he dropped the heavy and thick book on the bed. he then climbed up and opened the book to a page.

he points the title and faced his little brother with a wide smile. donghyun just looked at him then to the bool then back to him cluelessly. right, donghyun still doesn't know how to read the runic alphabet. ❝we can time travel without sacrificing ourselves!❞

❝oh...❞ donghyun mumbled as he looked at the page with runes' letters written on it. ❝will we be needing magic?❞ the younger asked and yijun just nodded.

❝what's the price?❞ donghyun asked once again as he closed the book and faced his brother who was looking at him in complete confusion.

❝hyung, you know that magic always comes with a price.❞ donghyun stated. ❝and the last time we used magic, papa paid the price.❞

yijun then made an 'oh' face and stood up, ❝the price is this.❞ he said as he changed into his angel form.

❝we'll lose our powers and our wings. but we'll be with our papa again and we'll live a happily ever after like in the princesses movies!❞

❝just go and enjoy your date.❞ donghyuck said while patting the older's shoulder to reassure him that everything will be fine.

❝if you ever need me, i'm just one call away. bye!❞ donghyuck said while waving at renjun who stood frozen on the restaurant's entrance.

donghyuck then entered his car and giggled after seeing that his renjun was still by the restaurant's entrance, frozen. ❝gosh, cupid can also be hard huh?❞

donghyuck sighed as he started his car's engine and drove off to go to his mansion. ❝was that the right decision? letting go of renjun?❞
