"You're the fucking problem here!"
Chaos. That's was what it was. Pure and utter chaos that spewed from the ship.
Minerva lowered her knife down onto the brunettes throat, which in return caused the brunette, Clementine, to use all her strength to keep the knife away from her neck.
"Ngh!"
The blonde better known as Violet among her friends, called out to her ex-lover in desperation.
"Minnie, stop!"
Though in the end the action deemed pointless. Minerva was already lost in her own pit of rage that seemed to build up over time. Literal fire emitted from her once serene ocean eyes.
Perhaps it was a lapse of judgement. A lapse of judgement being the reason they were here, fighting an unneeded battle.
Violet was hesitant after her first encounter with her ex-lover. Perhaps she still wanted to find the good that was left in her. She didn't want to believe- no- she refused to believe that all that was left of Minerva was an empty shell. It was heartbreaking.
"It could've all worked out in the end, you know that?" Minerva's words were like poison. She hissed at Clementine like she was a poisonous viper, about to feast on her first meal of the day.
In a state of panic, Violet had searched the slim cell room. She couldn't sit by and let this happen, it wasn't in her nature. She can't fear anymore, she cannot hesitate anymore. She has to protect Clementine.
"...Marlon would've came back for me! He would've staged a rescue. Do you understand what deep shit you've done, Clementine?!"
"M—Minerva! Can you h—hear yourself?! Put down the knife! W—We can reason!" Clementine coughed out, knuckles turning white from clenching at Minnervas fist so tightly.
Minerva was too far gone, she wasn't listening. Infact, she didn't want to listen at all. The truth hurt, the truth was scary and it was terribly unfair.
Minervas rage was postponed as she let out a pain filled gasp, lips quivering into a 'o'. It was honestly impressive how quick she was disabled. All it took was for Violet to close her eyes, bite her lip and shoot an arrow through her ex lovers shoulder.
Minnerva thankfully dropped her knife, stumbling back into the wall in sudden weakness. Weakly, her hand went to feel around her new found wound, crimson red seeping fast through her old, worn clothing.
Through hazy vision and hearing, she faintly heard her lovers familar voice.
"Damnit, Clem I— I can't just leave her, okay? Just... Go!"
"Violet...?" The red head managed to cough up.
Yeah, Violet decided it was a serious lapse of judgement on her part.
"Minnie, hey, can you hear me? Please, listen to me. We have to go. Right now. We can take you back to Ericsons! Cmon, Min, you gotta stay with me, alright?!"
"Delta... It needs me..."
Minerva could feel herself hovering. At first she thought she had finally met sleep, and was going to pass out from blood loss.
