If I had one wish right now, it would probably be to become invisible so I don't have to stand here looking at Taehyung, who's looking at Jimin, who's looking at me. The tension in the air above us is palpable, and none of us can ignore it. Jimin's eyes deflect from mine down to where Tae's hand and mine are still somehow connected. His lips part slightly, I bet he is going to throw a fit right now after the way I ran away from his house yesterday and came back a day later holding his brother's hand. I play a million different scenarios in the back of my head while I stand there, watching them speak to each other but I can't hear a sound. All I hear is a loud lingering high pitched sound, and I honestly feel like I'm just about to faint on their doorstep.
Taehyung feels my hold getting weaker and turns around quick enough to catch me as I stumble back a little. Jimin takes a couple steps towards me to catch my other arm, helping me back up as I come back to my senses.
"I have to get out of here." I whisper under my breath, quickly brainstorming about an escape plan from this horrible situation. I try to shake their hold on my arms off, but they're not letting go. "Tiny, relax, come inside and sit down, I'll get you a glass of water and something to eat. You don't look so good." Tae lets out, dragging me gently towards the inside of the mansion. And in that moment, I have absolutely no energy left to resist.
"Tiny? Tae what the hell is this? Why are you holding Tess's hand and what the fuck are you doing with her in the first place? Do you know her?" Jimin asks, following us to the kitchen and sits down beside me, rubbing my back ever so gently. Tae's confused eyes find Jimin's, slowly understanding his brother actually knows me and trying to figure out what kind of relationship we have. He tiptoes around the question for a while, letting out Hmms and Aaaaahs, trying to figure out just how much details he should reveal from our time together last night. I decide to take the fall for him, not wanting to put him in an awkward position where he'd feel like he "stole" me or something.
"We met last night, he spent the night over at my house and we were just now about to get breakfast. But, I see this is the most awful time for me to be here, I really shouldn't have come. Tae, I'm sorry but I can't stay." I turn over to Jimin, his stare on me heavy with what I can only assume is harsh judgment. "Jimin, can I call you later? I think you have to go to practice, or what ever that means. I want us to talk about this whole thing."
"Practice will just have to wait I guess." Jimin says, his angelic face looking right at me, but his body is all tensed up. He scoots a little closer to me, as Tae comes around my other side with a glass of water and a bowl of fruits. "Eat this Tiny. I don't want you to pass out on us." I smile lightly, turning my face to look at him, but I feel a light tug on my hand bringing my focus back to the boy with golden locks staring at me.
"This is some kind of awful weird prank right? Did you know about me and Jimin when we met last night Tae? Did you follow me? Wait, did you already know who I was when we started talking?" A look of horror flashes through my eyes as I ask the tall black haired boy all these questions. He looks shocked at first, and quickly lifts both of his arms and starts waiving his hands around letting me know this is totally a misunderstanding. "Oh my god no Tiny I swear I didn't know about you and Jimin. But, now that I think of it, what about you and Jimin anyways? Did you guys..?" I choke on my water and I feel it coming out of my nose as I cough loudly trying to get some air into my lungs. I take a second to get my breathing back to normal as I wipe my face with a tissue Jimin handed over a couple seconds ago, and look up to Taehyung.
"No, oh my god no we didn't.. do anything. We hung out, ate together and ended up kissing but then it got weird and Jimin left me in the park a couple blocks away from my house."
