We all know what cancer is.
For some it tells a story of survival,
unfortunately not for all.
It's a war between yourself,
A war that is hard to win,
Hard to fight,
Sometimes we make it out alive,
Sometimes not.
But cancer can make us strong,
When we say we've survived,
It can bring new meaning to our lives,
New hope.
It can strip us of our hair,
Our comfort,
Our everyday lives.
It affects us in more way than one,
It can bring pain,
Heartache,
Loss.
But,
It can bring us closer,
Make us stronger!
