"Tell me what happened" Nate asked calmly nang makaupo siya sa tabi ko sa MiniStop.
Hindi ko alam kung bakit kailangan ko pa siyang idamay sa pagkabroken hearted ko.
"Nate--"
"--It's him again isn't it?" he cut me off.
"Sorry pati ikaw nadadamay" I sighed and drank the soda I bought.
"Rikky--"
"--Sana hindi ka umasa sa sinabi ko kanina. I was in pain you know. I was so weak that I needed to hold on someone else. Sorry"
"You said something you shouldn't have said." he sighed.
"Nate, gustong-gusto ko naman na ikaw nalang pero hindi pa kaya ng puso ko. Sorry for making you hope again, I badly wanted to move on and I know it in my heart that you are the right person"
"I-It's alright. I understand atleast naging tayo ng halos tatlong oras" He chuckled.
"Babayaran ko nalang ng installment yung fuel ng helicopter mo" I trailed.
"You are a bitch when you wanted to, alam mo iyon" he tried to raise a brow.
Natawa ako sa ginawa niya kasi parehong kilay niya ang tumaas.
"And you are laughing at me, how dare you woman"
"Nate" I hugged him freely.
"I love you Rikky and you love me too I know but a tad different to how you love him, and it's not ok at all, damn" mura pa niya.
Mas natawa ako lalo sa pinagsasabi niya.
"Nagpa-implant na nga ako ng ngipin pero siya parin ang mahal mo, ano pa ba ang dapat kong gawin?" he added and now I chuckled harder.
"Ang cute nga ng sungki mo noon" sabi ko na natatawa na lalo. I suddenly felt better.
"Damn woman hindi na babalik iyon, your compliment is too late."
"Nate" mamya ay sambit ko. Magkayakap parin kami.
"Please find the right person. Yung hindi gaya ko na manhid?"
"I will but I would be happier if you find your happiness first" he mumbled.
"I found him but he managed to slip away, baka sa convent nalang ako pero hindi din pwede kasi si Shaks sinira na niya ang imagination ko so it's futile to even try, magkakasala lang ako lalo"
"Are you listening?" I asked him nang tahimik lang siyang nakayakap sa akin.
Hindi ko makita ang mukha niya.
"Someone is looking" he murmured.
"Huh?" I asked.
"Gavin Nunez is looking" he said so I stiffened.
"He's leaving" mamya ay sabi nito kaya napalingon ako sa tinitignan niya.
Tanging likod nalang ni Gavin ang nakita ko. I didn't see his face hanggang sa makasakay na ito sa kotse niya.
"Anong ginawa niya dito?" I asked.
"He bought icecream, ok ka lang ba?" he asked.
"I guess so--No, I am ok, really" I smiled at him.
"Plans? Gusto mo pa bang makita ang pamangkin mo? " He asked
"Uwi nalang siguro tayo, baka sa susunod nalang ako susulyap kay Chastity"
"Let's invite Shakira out then maybe tomorrow nalang bumalik ng Bicol--"
"I want to rest, maybe next time Nate "
