The sky is clear, the color of milky blue,

I swim miserably, stuck in a seaweed slew.

Waves lap and soon cover my head,

I'm begin to drown, heavy as lead.

Then strong arms made of steel,

Pull me to the surface with fantastic zeal.

Streaks of blond and glorious brown,

I stare dumbfounded up at a worried frown.

I blubber and sputter,

Choking up water as I quickly shudder.

A handsome man with a perfect tan,

My fingers slowly crept and feverishly ran.

"Are you alright Miss?" he sweetly asked,

His voice was pure as honey and his eyes were masked.

He pulled me to shore and laid me out to dry,

I squinted, blinded by the harsh sun in my eyes.

He walked back to his gallant throne,

Tall and white to protect every zone.

I grinned and gawked,

Watching his beautiful, macho walk.

My knight in shining armor,

My devilishly handsome charmer.

Tempting and teasing,

His dazzling mystery never ceasing.

I dreamt of roses and a horse-drawn carriage,

And wondered if we would have two children after marriage.

But then he descended and I watched in sorrow,

Saddened by his exit and hoped for tomorrow.

Yet here he comes, Knight number two,

And I sit right back up to sneak a view.

Yes it's free, this eye candy to admire,

But it's always here and I never tire.

They switch and sit with looks stone-hard,

But I'll always be here to watch my lovely lifeguard.
