OKKKK soo I am black, so I'm not gonna stress too much on the opinion most people already think I have. BUT

We've seen cultural appropriation with Kim Kardashian. It's as simple as this. Braids/ Hairstyles that have been cherished and worn by BLACK women for centuries, and disrespected for even longer, being RENAMED and finally ACCEPTED when a non-black person does them.

Like, when did Fulani braids get renamed Kim K braids??? They've got it all wrong. It becomes a trend, once a non-black person sports it.

HAIR IS VERY IMPORTANT IN BLACK CULTURE.

MY OPINION:
Culture is meant to be shared. And appreciated. Where I live, two major cultures (East Indian & African) merge like CRAZZZYYYY.

But we can't forget it's origin. We can appreciate, without forgetting. Can we?

I have no problem with this^^ Throw in some beads & hair rings, my girl is looking great😍😝😝, BUT DON'T
