It was clear that with every passing minute the ierós were getting closer, they already had the upper hand over four Asgarhs who were trying to run around in the mortal realm.
The question was how long would they able to go around, without falling into the traps laid down by the ierós. Or truly were they running around one right now?
They needed to conjure up a plan quick, but it wasn't easy. Considering Leno was dealing with three almost new-borns who had no idea of their abilities, they were still a work in progress but there wasn't much time for that.
He needed to get them off their feet and stop them from lacking, because this wasn't a situation they could run from they had to face it head on. But before that they needed someone to wake them up from the fantasy they were living in.
"He's gonna get to us anyways, let's just get some sleep and wait for him." The comment made by Zayden infuriated Leno even more who was getting tired of the slacking attitude by the three. It had been a week since the stadium incident. But there were no approaches made towards them, they were still safe, he had spend this week keeping the children up and urging them to practice their powers.
According, to Leno's calculations any one of the kinds should have been outside their homes right now, but nothing eventful happened. This just raised Leno's suspicions even more, he had a vague idea that something much bigger was going around.
Although, he couldn't do much with three nagging children in his household. As Zayden continued whinning about getting his precious sleep, while Razielle and Griffin lounged on the couch raiding any food that was left.
So he decided to take an approach that may prove to be beneficial for the three, but he unfortunately couldn't say the same for himself.
"Get up. We're heading to the stadium."
"What? Why would we go there?" butted Griffin as confusion fell over them.
"Because of you three. You need to clear your mind and focus."
"We can focus in here, no need to step into a death trap" argued Griffin again, but it seemed as Leno had already made up his mind.
"We'll be fine, all three of you just need to get your ass kicked in football, and we'll be on track again."
A smirk made its way over to all three of their faces, as all uncertainity faded away and excitement rattled in their bones,
"Oh, it's on old man"

Upon reaching the stadium, a smile settled upon Leno's face watching the trio argue and jump with excitement as they made their way to the field.
Although, Leno stayed behind as he urged the three to warm up and said he would catch up with them after coming back from the restroom.
He agreed with Griffin wholeheartedly, this decision was like walking into a death trap and not knowing what to expect, but he knew it had to be done.
Leno kept walking around knowing he'd have to go back any minute now, so continued looking around for any traces or some kind of creature lurking in here.
But everything seemed too normal and too perfect to be true.
He came here with the intention of attracting trouble towards him, but he had come to realization regarding something bigger.
It was all a set-up.
The game, the final whistle everything was practically planned, the ierós did not enter the mortal realm at that very moment, but rather they were already here.
Rushing back towards the three who were engrossed in playing football and knocking each other down, Leno noticed they weren't alone.
Rather he was there, playing with them. Or so to say, a shape-shifting demon in the form of Leno himself.
He had entered at a very specific moment in their conversation where the ever curious Razielle enquired to the Demon Leno, "So, how exactly do we defeat this earlking?."
"We don't, we just go along with –"
"We exploit him, we bring him down, we discover his weakness and then we strike"
Much to the dismay of the demon, the real Leno interrupted the conversation and cut him off in the midst of his speech.
Though, it made matters only worse. With two Leno's standing face to face in front of others, the trio was terrified. All of them had acquired a protective stance as they watched this insanity unfold in front of their eyes.
"Kill him! He's a shape-shifting demon"
"Me? You're the one who's misleading these three!"
"I only protected them."
"I'd die before I'd watch you lay a hand on any one of them."
"What are you looking at kill him!"
Both Leno's stood at each other's throat and the three watching this scene had no idea what to do.
It was obvious one of them was indeed a demon but which one of them was which, this was unknown.
It was a ragging battle inside their hearts and also a battle in front of their eyes, as both Leno's pounced at each other, Griffin was the one who decided to take action.
He had no idea what happened, for one instance he was the normal Griffin and the next moment he was this gigantic beast with piercing eyes growling upon the sight in front of him.
Next to him was Zayden who had also transformed into his true form.
The both stood side by side, but there was no sign of Razielle.
Both Leno's lay on the ground, already having dealt damage to each other, they waited for one of the beasts in front of them to rip them to shreds but the attack never came from the two standing in front of them.
Rather a growl was heard from behind them as Razielle pounced on the demonic Leno who had already started shifting back to his vicious form.
Ear piercing demon screams echoed around the stadium, as the demon was reduced to shreds. But, once the deed was done, realization settled deep inside the three, as they returned to their human forms and looked at the ground to see the actual Leno panting and his face confronting pain.
It was clear he had taken a hit from the demon, but the damage was unknown. Although, what the three in front of him didn't know that a demon's scratch was just as noxious as a Basilik. Especially the ones, who were true disciples of the earlking.
As the three rushed to help Leno on the ground, he declined, and spoke between rugged breaths;
"My destiny is already fulfilled."
Those were his last words before he fell limps in the hands of his children.
For Leno this was a must sacrifice.
For he knew his death would serve as a crucial spark, in the flames that had been ignited in the hearts of the three who stared at his body go limp, and then simply disappear into thin air.
